2015/2016 Premiership Opening Weekend | 8th & 9th August 2015

It’s felt like a lifetime, but finally the football returns. There are absolutely loads of football betting offers this weekend from all of the online betting sites. All of these offers are in conjunction with the free bet offers on the side. Let’s no waste time previewing the season and get right into it…

Paddy Power
Paddy Power: Top goal scorer free bets / / Free in play bet

You’ll need to make this bet before 12:45 on Saturday 8th August. Place a £20 bet on any player in the Premier League to be the top goal scorer this season, and every time they score you will receive a £2 free bet. Aguero managed to knock out 26 goals last season, and Harry Kane 21 so you could receive a lot of free bets with this offer.

The second offer from Paddy Power extends throughout August. Place a £20 bet before kick off on any of the televised games, and you will receive a free £10 bet to use in play. The televised games this weekend are Manchester United vs Tottenham, Chelsea vs Swansea, Arsenal vs West Ham and Stoke vs Liverpool. Interestingly BT Sport have the best game of the weekend, not Sky.

VC Bet
Bet Victor: Cash out bonus // £5 free bet

Again, two offers from Bet Victor with one of them being very timely. If you bet £25 or more on any virtual sports game before midnight on the 7th August, Bet Victor will give you a £5 free bet on the Premier League.

The second one is a bit more interesting in our opinion. For this opening weekend of the Premiership, if you cash out a profitable bet during a game, Bet Victor will match that profit up to the value of £25 in funds. This is pretty unique; we haven’t seen this promotion before so perhaps it will be something that they will experiment more with during the season. Essentially it allows you to get double odds if you’re prepared to cash out which either means more winnings or reduced risk by cashing out early.

Unibet
Unibet: Top scorer cash back

Unibet have a top scorer special which is quite similar to Paddy Power. If you place a £30 bet on the Premiership 2015/2016 top goal scorer, every time that they score two goals, you will receive a £5 free bet. So the free bet value is greater than Paddy Power’s offer, but will occur less frequently.

William Hill
William Hill: New Super Sub

William Hill don’t have a lot of novelty specials when it comes to football betting, but they do have some pretty good always on offers, and there is a new one joining them. They are launching ‘Super Sub’. Those betting on goal scorers will know the frustration when your player either gets substituted either through injury or a tactical change. Going forward, if you back a goal scorer who leaves the field, your bet carries onto the player who replaced him at the original price. This may make William Hill the best place for goal scorer markets this season.

Betfred
Betfred: Goal scorer double delight

This will start appearing on the Betfred website Friday evening and it’s another offer for the goal scorer markets. It’s available on all the Premiership games this weekend, including Monday. If you back and win a player to score the first goal of the game, and he goes onto score a second, then Betfred will double your odds. Furthermore, if the player gets a hat trick, Betfred will triple your odds.

10 Bet
10Bet: Fast Fiver

Netbet have a particular offer for those interested in betting on ‘fast markets’, occurring within the next one or five minutes of a live match. For example, you can bet on goals, corners, bookings, penalties etc. It’s worth a try since if you bet a minimum of £5 in one of the markets, and your bet loses, if you email customer support with the email subject of ‘Fast Fiver’ then you will receive a £5 bonus.

Net Bet
Net Bet: £25 Cashback if Rooney & Kane both score

There have been rumours this week that Manchester United are set to bid for Harry Kane, however if they both score in the opening weekend of the season then Net Bet will be awarding cashback to customers that bet on the correct/ exact score, and first/ last goal scorer markets.
