Most of the attention today will be put on the retirement of AP McCoy, who will celebrate finishing the most successful career as a jockey. He will love to finish with a win, and he is participating in the 3:15pm (riding Mr Mole) and 4:25 (riding Box Office). The BBC have written up some statistics about his career. He has raced more than 16,000 and impressively within those races he has won over 4,300 times. We expect to see some very emotional scenes as he permanently awarded the champion jockey’s trophy for the 20th time. There are some good offers for this weekend, a mixture of usual on-going offers then ones specially for today:
Bet 365 : Regular Channel 4 Offer
AP McCoy’s final race was moved forward in the race schedule so that it could be televised on Channel 4 and therefore is eligible for Bet 365’s Channel 4 racing offer. Back any horse at 4/1 or greater, and receive a risk free bet for the next televised race.
Ladbrokes: Free bets
For existing customers, Ladbrokes can enjoy a similar offer to that of Bet 365. If you back any winner at odds of 4/1 or greater on Saturday, then Ladbrokes will give you a free bet.
Betfred: Price Boost on AP McCoy Wins
This one is for new customers only. Betfred have adjusted their normal sign up bonus which is £30 in free bets to include a 10% price boost on any AP McCoy wins.
StanJames: Money back on runner up
Note that this one does not apply to desktop users; you must be on either a tablet or mobile device. If your backed horse comes second in the race, StanJames will refund your bet up to the value of £25.
Bet Victor: Free fifth bet
Again this one applies to all the races that are being televised on Channel 4. Make four bets over the day, and Bet Victor will reward you with a free bet that matches the average of all of your stakes. There is a maximum of £10 that you can be awarded. We can’t see anything about minimum odds for this bet, so this could be a good alternative to other offers if you’re planning to back horses with short odds.
Boylesports: Money back at Haydock
Something a little different away from Sandown. Boylesports are refunding losing bets as a free bets if your horse comes in second by a neck or less at Haydock.
