The 2015 Rugby World Cup kicked off on Friday, seeing hosts England comfortably win against Fiji.

Across the nation, many punters are trying to learn all the rules of Rugby to immerse themselves in the tournament. Those struggling to do so will be pleased to hear that even some of the England professionals aren’t aware of all the rules it emerged yesterday.

There are quite a lot of betting offers, and we’ve rounded up them all. Good news is that all of the offers today are for both new and existing customers.

Betway
Betway: World Cup Outright winner special

If you bet on the outright winner of the tournament, and New Zealand win, then Betway will refund losing bets up to the value of £20. New Zealand are currently favourites for the tournament with odds of 2.20, just over evens, so in theory there is a one in two chance of this refund happening. If you fancy and England win, this might be a good insurance option. To take advantage, you need to have you bet down by Friday 25th September.

William Hill
William Hill: First try scorer special

William Hill have a similar offer to Stan James, but better. If your first try scorer doesn’t get the first try, but does get the second, then William Hill will pay out as a winner. This is the difference between Stan James and William Hill. With Stan James, you only receive your stake back, whereas William Hill will pay you as a winner. There is a ‘maximum benefit’ from the settlement which is £500.

Stan James
Stan James: First try scorer refund

If you’re betting in the first try scorer market, and your player doesn’t score the first try, but actually does get the second of the match, then Stan James will refund your losing bet. The terms and conditions don’t specify the maximum refund available (suggesting there isn’t one), but one really nice thing about this offer is that the refund is issued as cash, rather than a free bet. So if you wanted to withdraw it, you would be able to.

Boylesports
Boylesports: Try and Fail

If the first try of the game is not converted, Boylesports will refund losing first try scorer markets. This is one to consider versus the William Hill or Stan James offer. We would fancy one of those instead of this offer, but it’s another option.

Unibet
Unibet: Try refund / Free England Bet

There are two betting offers from Unibet this week. The better one is that if you bet £20 on the outright winner of the World Cup, Unibet will give you a £10 money back offer to use in-play for the England Wales game. The second one is similar to the Stan James offer. If your first try scorer doesn’t score the first, but gets the second Stan James will refund the stake as a bonus. It’s not as strong as the other bookmakers since the refund is issued as a free bet and you have to bet £20.

Betfair
Betfair: Try Scorer Refunds

Something a little bit different from Betfair. If a forward scores the first try of the match Betfair will refund all losing first, last and anytime try scorer bets.

Paddy Power
Paddy Power: Group stage handicap draw refund

Specific to the group matches, Paddy Power will be refunding losing handicap bet ending in a draw. The maximum refund you can receive is £50 and the free bet credited is only valid on rugby.
