What Are the Best Betting Sites for Golf?

The vast majority of bookmakers have markets for all PGA and European Tour events, but which is the best to use?

That ultimately depends on what is important to you. If you’re short on time, here are our recommendations:

  • If you’re betting each way and want the most places, choose Paddy Power or Boylesports.
  • If a weekly loyalty free bet is important, choose Coral or Paddy Power
  • If the welcome offer is preferable, then sign up with bet365

If you have more time, then here are the four factors we explore in depth:

1. The Welcome Offer You Get as a New Customer
2. The Ongoing Golf Offers You Get as an Existing Customer
3. Loyalty Free Bets for Golf
4. Who Has the Best Odds on Golf?

1. The Welcome Offer You Get as a New Customer

Most new customer welcome offers can be used on golf. You can unlock the free bet bonuses by betting on golf, and then you can use the free bet on golf. Any of the bookmakers in the table below, therefore, would be great.

We are a big fan of the bet365 welcome offer due to its generous bonus and simplicity.

2. The Ongoing Golf Offers You Get as an Existing Customer

We have tracked every golf betting offer available to existing customers weekly for the past three years. For instance, we know what bookmakers are more likely to have offers for each event on the PGA and European Tour calendars, and what bookmakers focus on the majors.

There are three bookmakers with offers for each event the PGA/ European Tour schedule:

  • Paddy Power – Market leading enhanced place terms
  • Coral – Market leading enhanced place terms
  • Boylesports – Market leading enhanced place terms
  • NetBet – Get a Free Bet If Your Player Leads After the 1st Round

Beyond these three bookmakers, there a few bookmakers in 2019 that have had offers for most of the tournaments:

  • Betway – Get Paid Out as a Winner If Your Player Leads After Any Round
  • William Hill – Back an Outright Winner and Receive a £10 Free Bet per Eagle

For the majors, some bookmakers that don’t normally run golf offers will have something. We have a dedicated editorial content for each of these:

When placing your bet, the best thing you can do is check My Betting Sites, and see what offers are available for the particular tournament you are betting on. If you are going to stick with one bookmaker, then pick according to the sort of offer you want.

If you are going to be betting each way a lot, then the enhanced terms from Paddy Power, Coral and Boylesports will be more relevant. If you’re betting on the tournament winner outright, then the offers from NetBet and Betway might be more suitable.

3. Loyalty Free Bets for Golf

Several bookmakers issue weekly free bets providing you meet the qualifying criteria. Most are football based, but there are two which will give you free bet every week which you can use on golf.

Coral have a ‘Bet and Get Club’. If you bet £25 on golf weekly, then Coral will give you £10 in free bets. £5 can be used online, and the rest in-shop.

An alternative is the Paddy Power. Bet £10 five times weekly, and you’ll receive a £10 free bet, plus a ‘Power Up’ for the following Monday. All of this bonus can be used online.

If you’re consistently betting on golf, and your bets meet the wagering requirements (minimum odds usually), then it makes sense to earn these free bets at the same time.

If these sort of loyalty free bets are essential to you, then we would recommend either Paddy Power or Coral.

4. Who Has the Best Odds on Golf?

Generally speaking, the odds you get will largely be the same across all bookmakers. Indeed, this will be the case for the betting sites listed on this site. There might be some discrepancy as bookmakers try and lower their odds to reduce their exposure on particular selections.

Based on this, there is no particular betting site we can recommend that will get you better odds on golf. We would recommend using a betting odds comparison tool each time you place a bet, and ensure you’re using the bookmaker with the best prices.
