Our bet of the weekend comes from Saturday’s Premier League encounter between Nottingham Forest and Brighton at the City Ground (12.30pm kick-off). We are backing the hosts to claim all three points.
Nottingham Forest suffered a setback last weekend, losing 5-0 against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, but the Tricky Trees can bounce back to winning ways at the first time of asking when Brighton visit.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will be itching to put that result behind them quickly and they can achieve that at the City Ground, where they have collected 21 points from 11 matches this season.
Forest are unbeaten in their last six home assignments in all competitions, winning five and drawing one, while Newcastle and Fulham are the only sides to have come away from the City Ground with all three points this term.
Visitors Brighton are in solid form on the road as they are unbeaten in their last six away matches, but they head into this contest on the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to relegation-threatened Everton last time out.
Given how strong Forest have been at home and their desire to return to winning ways in order to keep themselves cemented in the top four, the hosts look like a good shout to register a victory.
