Real ace the man for a big occasion
Arsenal may have a three-goal advantage going into Wednesday evening’s clash, but Real Madrid will feel they can turn things around in front of a packed house at the Bernabeu.
The hosts will have to create history though to make the last four, with Madrid looking to overturn three goals for the first time in the Champions League.
If they are to pull it off, their big-name players will have to deliver and this could be a night when Kylian Mbappe makes himself a Real hero.
The World Cup winner was sent off in the weekend win over Alaves and hasn’t made the big impact many pundits expected, following his summer move from PSG.
Mbappe has got 22 goals though in all competitions, with seven of those coming in Europe, including a hat-trick against Manchester City.
The French superstar has also had more attempts on goal (27) than anyone else in the Champions League this season.

Huge test for young Gunners star
Myles Lewis-Skelly has been the find of the season for Arsenal, making such a big impression at left-back that he’s also been called up to the senior England squad.
The 18-year-old played a big role in the win over Real Madrid at the Emirates, claiming an assist for Mikel Merino’s goal to secure the 3-0 victory.
Wednesday though will be the biggest test of his short career so far, with Real likely to target the youngster.
Lewis-Skelly has already picked up four yellow cards and two red cards across all competitions this season and looks a candidate to go in the book again.

Saka is Arsenal’s outlet
The return to fitness of Bukayo Saka has been key for an injury-hit Arsenal squad and the England man has hit the ground running on his comeback.
His pace and trickery will give the visitors a chance of creating opportunities on the break and a goal for Arsenal should be enough to see them through to the semis.
Corners have played a big part in Arsenal’s season to date and will also give them a good chance to find an all-important goal.
There were eight corners in the first leg and with Real pushing for goals, there are likely to be more in the return leg. It’s worth noting that there were 12 corners in Real’s win over Man City at the Bernabeu.
Madrid have so far averaged 6.15 shots on target per Champions League game this season, while Arsenal have averaged 5.63 – Mikel Arteta though will be determined for his players to close down the space and restrict the Spanish outfit in the final third.
