Visitors hard to fancy
The Premier League race for a top-five spot is going down to the wire and two of the main protagonists face off as Nottingham Forest and Chelsea do battle at the City Ground.
Both teams will be desperate for a win in this clash to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for Europe’s elite competition next season.
However, Chelsea have a dismal record on the road against fellow contenders for the Champions League places as they have lost all five away games against other teams in the top seven so far.
The Blues are also likely to be without a central striker in this clash as Nicolas Jackson is suspended after being sent off against Newcastle, while Marc Guiu and Christopher Nkunku are both injury doubts.
Chelsea, who have won only seven of 18 away games in the Premier League, made hard work of beating a poor Manchester United side at Stamford Bridge last time out and going to the City Ground is a much tougher task, with Forest having lost just four games there in the league this season.
The Tricky Trees need to win to keep alive their hopes of reaching the Champions League for the first time since 1980/81 as the draw would suit the visitors better. Take the stalemate out of the equation and side with Forest in the draw no bet market.

Wood can trouble Blues again
Chris Wood has been crucial to Forest’s efforts this season, netting 20 times in 35 Premier League games.
The New Zealander could show Chelsea what they are missing with an impressive striker’s performance.
Wood is also the Tricky Trees’ penalty taker so looks a tempting price to get on the scoresheet in this one, having already made his mark against Enzo Maresca’s men in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in October.

Cards likely in high-stakes clash
Forest have been very impressive at home against other contenders for the Champions League spots so far this season, having beaten Manchester City and Aston Villa at the City Ground and holding both Liverpool and Arsenal to draws. The Tricky Trees are fancied to extend that good run by avoiding defeat against Chelsea.
Another player who has been instrumental to Forest’s success this season is Morgan Gibbs-White, who has netted seven goals and provided eight assists in 33 Premier League games.
He is fancied to add to that tally in some way against a Chelsea side who have conceded 25 goals on their travels this season.
Another element of the game that Maresca’s men have struggled with this term is discipline. They have been shown the most cards of any team in the Premier League, 101, while Forest are not far behind them with 90.
Given the stakes of this final game of the season, over six cards looks well within the realms of possibility.
