Rams vs Jaguars betting tips
UK-based fans have not been treated to the best the league has to offer in the two games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a 21-17 win for Minnesota Vikings over Cleveland Browns in Week 5 and a pretty dreadful encounter between the Broncos and New York Jets last week that Denver won 13-11 in a match with only one touchdown.
However, the expectation is for a better contest as both teams crossing the Atlantic this week did so with winning 4-2 records.
- Los Angeles Rams -3 on handicap @ 10/11
- Tyler Higbee anytime touchdown scorer @ 14/5
- Bet Builder: Over 44.5 points, Travis Etienne anytime touchdown scorer, Kyren Williams anytime touchdown scorer, Tyler Higbee over 24.5 receiving yards @ 29/4
Rams have talent to overcome regular visitors Jacksonville
Regular London host team Jacksonville Jaguars have played more than twice as many International Series games as any other side, but their familiarity with the experience has not particularly given them a competitive advantage.
The Jaguars have a 7-6 record on their overseas visits and they are looking to provide a third successive win for their London fans after beating Buffalo Bills 25-20 in 2023 and New England Patriots 32-16 last season.
The Rams beat Cincinnati Bengals 24-10 on their last international trip in 2019 and have a 2-2 record overall in such games.
The teams also have similar records this season, having each won four of their first six games. That kind of mark was expected of the Rams, who won the NFC West last year, but it represents a major improvement for the Jaguars, who have made the playoffs in only one of the last seven seasons.
They have made a promising start under new head coach Liam Coen, with the highlight a Week 5 win over Kansas City Chiefs, but they were brought back to earth with last week’s 20-12 home defeat by Seattle Seahawks and could find this test against another NFC West team just as tough.
The Rams were only workmanlike rather than spectacular in last week’s 17-3 road win over an injury-hit Baltimore Ravens team, but they have not done much wrong this season and might easily have won both the games they were beaten in by the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.
The Rams have one of the smartest coaches in the league in Sean McVay and his team are worth backing to cover the handicap in London.

Veteran Higbee can step up
The Rams are giving their wide receiver Puka Nacua every chance to recover from an ankle injury to play in London but he may well miss out.
That should open the door for veteran tight end Tyler Higbee to take on a bigger role in the team’s passing offence and he looks a decent candidate to score a touchdown in the game.
Higbee has mostly taken a back seat this season, but the 32-year-old reached the end zone for the first time this year against the Ravens after Nacua was injured in the second quarter.
The Jaguars gave up two passing touchdowns to the Seahawks last week and are still adjusting to life without cornerback Tyson Campbell, who was traded to the Browns before that game.
- Plenty of promotions for existing customers
- Extra Place races available
Expect a more entertaining London game this week
With two talented offences at Wembley, this game should prove the highest-scoring of the three London fixtures this year and starting a bet builder with over 44.5 total points could pay off.
Running backs Travis Etienne of the Jaguars and Kyren Williams of the Rams are both capable of reaching the end zone after scoring eight times between them this season.
Add Higbee to have over 24.5 receiving yards in a wager that pays 29/4 with bet365 at the time of writing.
- Hugely attractive new customer welcome offer, offering £50 in bonuses
- Popular Double Delight promo offers great value on goalscorer bets
