Sky Super 6 Predictions
Here are our predictions for this week’s Super 6 matches, for some help with your own predictions. Predicting the results of Premier League matches can be tough as there’s shock results every week.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher also gets involved in Super 6 and they share his predictions each week. Here are his predictions alongside our betting expert’s, who managed to beat Carragher last week.
| Super 6 Matches | Luke’s Predictions | Jamie Carragher’s Predictions |
| Nottingham Forest vs Man Utd | 1-2 | 0-1 |
| Burnley vs Arsenal | 0-3 | 0-2 |
| Crystal Palace vs Brentford | 2-0 | 1-1 |
| Spurs vs Chelsea | 2-2 | 2-1 |
| West Ham vs Newcastle | 0-2 | 1-3 |
| Manchester City vs Bournemouth | 2-1 | 2-0 |
Nottingham Forest vs Man Utd
No one would have predicted that Manchester United would be in the top six and Nottingham Forest in the bottom three at the start of the season, and this game now looks like Man United’s to lose as they have four wins in their last five Premier League matches. Forest have only won one game this season, and have four losses in a row, so we are predicting a victory for Ruben Amorim’s side.
Our Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Man Utd
Burnley vs Arsenal
Burnley have managed two wins a row but they now come up against one of the most in-form teams in Europe in Arsenal. The Gunners have won nine of their last 10 matches, drawing the other and have gone on a run of eight wins in a row. They have only conceded three goals in the Premier League this season and have clean sheets in eight of their last 10 matches. This should be a very comfortable victory for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Our Prediction: Burnley 0-3 Arsenal
Crystal Palace vs Brentford
Crystal Palace got back to winning ways with a very comfortable 3-0 victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup. Brentford won’t be easy opposition as they have four wins in five matches in all competitions, but the Eagles will be boosted after their midweek victory and should be able to win at Selhurst Park. They are undefeated at home in the Premier League since February as well, so we are backing them to win this weekend.
Our Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-0 Brentford
Spurs vs Chelsea
The most exciting Super 6 game to predict this week is Spurs vs Chelsea. This fiery London rivalry has been a great watch for neutrals over the years. The last time this game was played at Spurs, Chelsea won 4-3. We are expecting goals again in this fixture and with both teams playing well but being a little inconsistent when it comes to results, we are backing a draw.
Our Prediction: Spurs 2-2 Chelsea
West Ham vs Newcastle
This fixture feels like one of the easiest to predict, as West Ham have been playing very poorly all season. They have won one match in their last 10, losing eight in this run and they have only scored nine goals. Their last two matches have been losses against fellow relegation battlers Brentford and Leeds, and the fan base are fuming with how poor the team looks. Newcastle have struggled a little bit on the road, but we think they should get the win this weekend.
Our Prediction: West Ham 0-2 Newcastle
Manchester City vs Bournemouth
Man City vs Bournemouth is really tough to predict as Bournemouth sit second and three places above Pep Guardiola’s side. Despite this and despite Bournemouth being in better form, they only have one win against their opponents since 1987. Man City have won their last three home games in the Premier League and we see their good run against the Cherries continuing this weekend, but only just.
Our Prediction: Man City 2-1 Bournemouth

How the Sky Super 6 £1million jackpot was won!

Last weekend’s Super 6 saw the huge £1,000,000 jackpot won. The money was always going to be awarded at the end of round 9 to the season leader if no one managed to correctly predict all six scores in the first nine weeks.
The winner was Martin (68) from Falkirk, who supports Falkirk, but has a soft spot for Celtic and Arsenal.
Martin scored 25 points, just under a quarter of his season-long tally, thanks to stoppage-time goals! The definition of the late, late show! He won with 110 points – 25 correct results and 12 correct scores
The result of went down to the wire, with Martin having to wait for Bruno Guimaraes’ 90th minute winner for Newcastle against Fulham to climb into first place and securing him his lone correct result of Round 9. It gave him a 5-point boost to pole position!
Some unlikely scorelines he correctly predicted can be seen below, alongside the percentage of players who backed those results!
- Round 2: Fulham 1-1 Man Utd (10.7%)
- Round 3: Brighton 2-1 Man City (3.3%)
- Round 7: Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool (8.2%)
- Round 8: Spurs 1-2 Villa (5.4%)
