The three pairings that will compete for the Strictly Come Dancing glitterball trophy are now confirmed, following a weekend which saw Balvinder Sopal’s run on the show finally come to an end. Despite surviving five dance-offs already, the sixth proved a step too far, as Amber Davies was saved instead.
Amber will therefore join Karen Carney and George Clarke in the final, so read on to find out how bookmakers see Saturday night panning out.
Strictly Come Dancing Winner Odds 2025
George Clarke headed the race to be crowned Strictly champion alongside Alexis Warr for much of the 23rd series, and odds of 15/8 tell us he still has a reasonable 35% chance of coming out on top.
Karen Carney moved to the head of the Strictly betting odds a month ago though, and the England footballer turned pundit is now the odds-on favourite.
Karen and dancer partner Carlos Gu began the show at odds of 14/1, but their hopes looked close to being over after hitting odds of 50/1 as recently as late October. However her Argentine Tango in week six proved to be a significant turning point, and betting sites now give her a 62% probability of being the final winner with Tess and Claudia as the show’s hosts.
The third contenders are Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, but bookmakers give them just a 2% chance of causing a major upset. Despite being awarded four 10s for their Couple’s Choice, they found themselves in the dance-off for a second time, suggesting that it’s Karen and George who are the viewers’ favourites in what could prove a tight two-way battle.
