ITV Racing Tips & Becher Handicap Chase money back betting offers
Our tipster has got a selection for every live race on ITV’s Saturday programme, which runs from 1.00pm-4.00pm on ITV4. The Tingle Creek at Sandown is the feature race, while on Merseyside the famous Grand National Fences will be taken on in the Becher Chase.
1.20 Sandown – Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (2m7½f)
The increased stamina test really appeared to bring out improved form in LAVENDER HILL MOB during Cheltenham’s November Meeting. James Owen’s 4YO, a smart Flat stayer, is rated 8lb higher here but Alex Chadwick can take 3lb of that off in the saddle. There could be more to come as he rises in trip again.
1.50 Sandown – Henry VIII Novices’ Chase (Grade 1, 1m7½f)
It was a mere canter for LULAMBA on his fencing bow at Exeter last month, with some of the jumps omitted owing to low sun, but he shaped pleasingly when asked to clear fences. He faces a trio of rivals that have all won over these obstacles and so, as a Grade 1 should, this will ask more of Nicky Henderson’s youngster, but he should have the answers getting 6lb from the field.

2.05 Aintree – Wirral Juvenile Hurdle (Listed, 2m1f)
Easy Ludlow winner Treasure Planet is a contender for Paul Nicholls but Irish raider BIBE MUS has decent form behind a next-time-out Grade 3 winner in Mange Tout. The Galway maiden hurdle winner should have more to offer here for trainer Ross O’Sullivan.
2.25 Sandown – Handicap Hurdle (2m)
AFADIL looked a touch rusty at Ascot in his comeback run last month and the Paul Nicholls-trained son of Camelot could leave that behind. His handicap mark has dropped nicely and this second start after a wind op could be a good time for him to shine under Harry Cobden in a wide open race.

2.40 Aintree – Becher Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap, 3mf2)
Top-weight Mr Vango goes well fresh and is respected while Bioluminescence might have got the nod but for the fact Gavin Cromwell is finding winners hard to come by. GALIA DES LITEAUX has run well in a Grand National here and was persistently tried over marathon trips last season. Dan Skelton’s mare has form at this sort of trip and has dropped to a nice mark, with the trainer suggesting this week she ticks a lot of boxes for a race like this.
3.00 Sandown – Tingle Creek Chase (Grade 1, 1m7½f)
A belter of a Tingle Creek in prospect as Jonbon, Il Etait Temps and L’EAU DU SUD headline a five-runner field. Jonbon is going for a record-equalling third win but his perfect Sandown record was smashed when Il Etait Temps beat him in the Celebration Chase in the spring. Nicky Henderson’s charge was also brushed aside in the Shloer Chase last month at Cheltenham by L’eau Du Sud. Dan Skelton’s charge was polished there and looks a coming force. Il Etait Temps is the horse to beat, but Harry Skelton’s improving partner might have his measure today.

3.15 Aintree – Handicap Hurdle (2m4f)
He’s 10 now but STREAM OF STARS ran a cracker on his comeback at Plumpton when stepping up to this sort of trip for the first time. He got by all but the front-running winner Goodwin and, with Sam Twiston-Davies taking over in the saddle now, rates a solid each-way contender in this wide open Aintree finale.
3.35 Sandown – London National Handicap Chase (3m4½f)
O’Connell was a course winner over 3m in the spring and should build on last month’s Carlisle third over 3m2f on his comeback run but ASK BREWSTER is three years his junior and comes here on a roll for Evan Williams. He signed off last season with wins at Chepstow and Cheltenham – latterly over this trip – and had no problems obliging at the Monmouthshire layout on his comeback in October. He is rated 8lb higher now but conditions are optimal for him and the trip clearly suits.
