England duo could hold the key for Gunners
The last time Arsenal failed to score in any competition was way back on August 31, when they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Liverpool.
It’s also worth noting that the Gunners have scored in three of their last four visits to Villa Park and their England pair of Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze could help them extend that run on Saturday.

Feisty affair on the cards
Although neither of these teams are near the top of the Premier League yellow card stats table, with so much riding on this clash, it looks likely to be a busy afternoon for referee Peter Bankes.
The official averaged 4.2 yellow cards per game last season and both of the meetings between these sides in 2024-25 saw four or more cautions.
A lot has been made of Arsenal’s threat from set-pieces this season, but Villa have actually had more corners in their matches than Arteta’s men – with an average of 10.36 per game.
