Everton vs Leeds Betting Tips
Our betting expert has three Everton vs Leeds tips for Monday, January 26 in the Premier League at Hill Dickinson Stadium (kick-off, 8.00pm). Scroll down for the analysis behind his selections.
- Draw @ 9/4
- Dominic Calvert-Lewin anytime goalscorer @ 21/10
- Bet Builder: Both teams to score, Thierno Barry & Dominic Calvert-Lewin 1+ shots on target each & James Garner to be booked @ 16/1 with bet365
Stalemate may ensue on Merseyside
Everton have settled for draws against the likes of Burnley and Wolves in recent weeks and David Moyes’ side have managed just seven home league points from their last seven games.
Leeds, meanwhile, have suffered just one loss in nine games across all competitions, that coming in the dramatic 4-3 reverse at Newcastle when they conceded twice in stoppage time.
The Whites have only managed a single away Premier League success so far in 11 games (D3, L7), so a maximum haul here looks unlikely. Leeds visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time, but having managed just one away league win over Everton in their previous 16 attempts.
Everton are decent at game management and keeping matters tight, as they showed in last weekend’s smash and grab win at Aston Villa, but Leeds have plenty of goal threats, and a draw is the favoured outcome, which would make it six draws in nine league games for Daniel Farke’s side.

Calvert-Lewin may haunt former employers
Strikers going back to former hunting grounds typically do so eager to impress. Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored 57 Premier League goals as an Everton player before his summer switch to Elland Road.
The forward has been thriving since moving to West Yorkshire, with his nine Premier League goals already bettering his tally in each of his last four seasons at Everton.
He was on target in that seven-goal thriller at Newcastle earlier this month, taking his goal burst to eight in 10 appearances at the time. He will be keen to do well back on Merseyside and can find the net.

Garner primed for another booking
There have been four or more goals in five of Leeds’ 11 Premier League away games this season and expecting some entertainment here is fair as both teams to score has been a winning bet in five of Leeds’ last six Premier League away games.
Everton have conceded 10 league goals in their last four home games but only Arsenal, Aston Villa and Tottenham have prevented them from scoring at home in the league this season.
Calvert-Lewin’s desire to impress is already clear and he’s fancied to get at least one shot on target, alongside Everton’s Thierno Barry – the matchwinner at Villa Park last week – who has registered at least one effort on target in four of his last five games.
Completing the bet builder selection is a caution for James Garner. The Toffees midfielder picked up his eighth booking of the season last week at Villa. He has been booked in successive games three times already this season and, with 64 tackles, is by far and away Everton’s leading tackler this season.
