The Gunners have been formidable at home, losing just one of their 20 competitive matches at the Emirates this season and winning 16 of them. That run includes victories over Bayern Munich and Chelsea, highlighting the level they can reach.
Wigan arrive in poor form, having lost their last four matches and gone six without a win. Despite facing a lower standard of opposition than Arsenal on a weekly basis, they are averaging fewer than one goal per game across their last ten competitive outings. Their away record offers little encouragement either, with just three wins from 18 matches on the road this season.
