With the second series of I’m a Celebrity…South Africa in full swing, MyBettingSites.co.uk has published our hypothetical odds for the winner of the series.
Unlike I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, the South Africa spin-off is not live – it was pre-recorded in September 2025 – so viewers will only be able to decide the fate of the contestants at the very end, where they will choose the winner from the remaining contestants during a live final at the end of April.
I’m a Celebrity…South Africa – The winner odds
Predicting the winner of the series is more challenging than usual since there is no indication of the favourites from public voting, and no betting sites have been willing to price up the contestants.
Still, we’ve got good experience in this situation, having produced a number of successful predictions on The Traitors. And based on fans’ reactions to the series, there are already a few clear contenders.
Actor, presenter and DJ Craig Charles is currently the odds-on favourite to win the series with odds of 4/5. Fans on social media have been praising his humour and authenticity, and he has amassed a large following from appearing in various projects such as Red Dwarf, Takeshi’s Castle, and Robot Wars.
Close behind Craig Charles are actor Adam Thomas and The Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts, with odds of 11/2 and 7/1 to win respectively. Both performed very well in their original appearances of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! with Adam Thomas finishing 3rd in series 16 and Ashley Roberts finishing 2nd in series 12.
In fourth place is actress Beverley Callard, with odds of 11/1 to win, who has been highlighted as very entertaining by viewers thus far.
As of now, it is not confirmed how eliminations will work. However, if a similar format to the Australian series is followed, the camp may choose two contestants to face off in an elimination challenge, with the loser leaving the jungle. It has also been implied that the winning team’s “kings”, Harry Redknapp and Jimmy Bullard, might be somehow involved in the decision. And since Ant and Dec teased the first elimination at the end of the last episode, it seems it is finally time for the first contestant to leave the jungle for good.
On the other end of the spectrum, media personality Gemma Collins, comedian Seann Walsh and former professional boxer David Haye currently have the lowest odds of winning I’m a Celebrity…South Africa. Gemma Collins quit during her first I’m a Celebrity appearance and, while she is undoubtedly entertaining, she would need to perform well in the challenges to make it to the end.
Meanwhile, fans have suggested that Seann Walsh has been playing up to the cameras, while David Haye has already sparked controversy with some of his comments in camp, which could make it difficult for him to secure enough public support even if he reaches the final.
