Championship Betting Tips
Our betting expert ha analysed the fixtures taking place in the Championship on Wednesday evening and provided an accumulator for you to bet on. Read on for the full breakdown around his picks.
- Millwall vs Wrexham – Both Teams To Score @ 8/11
- QPR vs Cardiff – QPR to win @ 10/11
- West Brom vs Charlton – West Brom to win @ 3/4
- Burnley vs Middlesbrough – Middlesbrough to win @ 7/5
Fourfold @ 13/1
Expect goals at the Den
Wrexham may still be without a win this season, but we are expecting them to give Millwall a good game when the pair meet under the lights at the Den. Wrexham have drawn twice and lost once in the division, but they have scored in each match so far, showing that despite not picking up a win, they are competitive. Millwall’s three matches have also produced goals, with the home side managing six goals and conceding five in their three league matches.
With Millwall’s reliable ability to find the back of the net in front of their intimidating home crowd at The Den, and Wrexham’s aggressive, forward-thinking playstyle as they battle for points in the Championship, this match promises end-to-end action where neither defence is likely to keep a clean sheet.

QPR to claim bragging rights over Cardiff
The match taking place at Loftus Road between QPR and Cardiff should provide some goals, but QPR are the favourites and this should be no shock when you take into account both their starts of the season.
Cardiff are one of two teams in the league who have drawn all three of their matches. They have scored five goals and conceded five, and for a team who were in League One last campaign, it’s a good start to the new season for them.
QPR have had a great start. They have two wins and a draw, scoring five goals and conceding just two. QPR’s recent record against the away side is good. They have only lost twice in the last 11 matches, winning seven times.
QPR have only played once at home in the league, with their two wins being on the road in the Championship, but this quality away from home should be a huge morale boost ahead of this fixture with Cardiff. Ilias Chair has started the season well, scoring twice, and we think he will be key in getting a win over the line for QPR this week.
- Championship Acca Tip 2: QPR vs Cardiff – QPR to win @ 10/11
- Welcome offer is amongst most generous
- Scoreline Selector offers weekly free bets
Baggies to continue perfect home record
West Brom’s only home match in the division this season saw them beat Burnley 3-1, and we are backing them to continue their perfect record at the Hawthorns stadium this evening.
It won’t be easy, as they take on a Charlton side who have had a great start this year. They are the only club in the Championship to win all three matches so far, and this momentum will be tough for the Baggies to control, however, we are backing them to halt Charlton’s run.
West Brom have only lost one of their last ten matches against the away side, and with the home crowd behind them, we think they will be too much for the Addicks. Jimmy-Jay Morgan has two goals and two assists in three matches for the Baggies, and his quality will likely be too much for the away side to handle.

Middlesbrough to pile more misery on Burnley
Burnley were one of the favourites to return to the Premier League after their relegation from England’s top flight last season, but the start to life back in the Championship has not gone as planned. They are in the relegation zone after three games, drawing once and losing twice and they have already conceded nine goals.
We are expecting the misery to continue for the Clarets against Middlesbrough, who currently sit fifth in the league. A huge reason for Boro’s good start to the season is their summer signing, Will Lankshear. The forward has scored four goals already in the Championship and with Burnley leaking goals at the back, we are backing Lankshear to continue his fine form.
The mood around Burnley is not a good one right now, and if the away side score early, then no doubt the atmosphere will turn toxic, and Middlesbrough will look to use this as they battle for promotion this season.
