bet365 Premier League preview
The Premier League is back this weekend, with fixtures like Chelsea vs Spurs and Liverpool vs Brighton, while our preview focuses on Sunderland vs Leeds.
Sunderland vs Leeds preview (Sunday 4:30pm)
Sunderland host Leeds this weekend and it’s a huge game for the home side, who are currently bottom of the Premier League. They are winless in their last five league matches, losing their last four, and they desperately need to turn their form around.
Leeds have had a great start to the season. They are seventh and have only lost once this season, against Arsenal. Daniel Farke have made his team hard to beat, and it’s the type of opponent Sunderland will be dreading of playing this weekend.
Leeds will also take encouragement from Sunderland’s midweek trip to Poland for their Europa League game against Lech Poznan, which leaves the Black Cats with far less time to recover before the weekend. Expect a quick start from Farke’s side as they look to pile on more misery at the Stadium of Light.
