Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Betting Tips
Crystal Palace host Liverpool at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Sunday 8 November, with kick-off at 2pm.
- Liverpool to win to nil and Isak to score anytime (7/2)
- Over 9.5 corners and over 4.5 cards (4/1)
- Virgil van Dijk to score anytime (9/1)
Isak Primed To Punish Palace Again
Palace had shipped 19 goals in their first eight league games, more than any other side, and Tottenham added two more on Saturday. Mateta is banned, and they’ve lost their last three league games without scoring, a first since March 2023. Liverpool, meanwhile, have kept four clean sheets in nine and are unbeaten in four away league games.
Isak has six league goals and scored in three straight league appearances before Arsenal shut the Reds out. He scored against Palace at Anfield in April too. Iraola’s side are at their best attacking quickly and directly, and a Palace team with a shaky back line should give Isak the room he likes. A win to nil with Isak on the scoresheet looks a good shout.
- £30 in free bets is a great welcome offer for football bettors
- BV Loyalty Club and Guaranteed Prize Wheel offer reasons to use the site regularly
Corners And Cards Expected In Selhurst Scrap
This one has the makings of a scrappy afternoon. Palace have already had two players sent off this season, Axel Disasi against Ipswich and Mateta at Spurs, and the frustration is showing. The last meeting, at Anfield in April, produced 13 corners and four yellow cards.
Palace concede more than five corners a game, among the highest in the league, and their home games average just over ten in total. Liverpool win more than five a game on the road. Add a home side under pressure and a Liverpool team that likes to attack fast, and ten or more corners with five or more cards is very doable.

Van Dijk Can Rise Above Palace’s Set-Piece Woes
Palace’s defending has been all over the place. Newcastle scored twice in 11 minutes after the break the week before, and Tottenham’s opener on Saturday came from a corner, with Archie Gray left alone at the back post. That’s 21 league goals conceded in nine games.
Virgil van Dijk scored six league goals last season, including one at Aston Villa in May, and he’s still waiting for his first this term. He’s a big presence at set-pieces, Liverpool should get a handful of corners and free-kicks, and Palace’s marking has looked loose. At 9/1, he looks a decent price for a headed goal.
