Qatar Goodwood Festival | 28th July – 1st August

We’re now onto day four of Goodwood. The new sponsorship deal means the festival is now known as the ‘Qatar Goodwood festival’, but it also means that the prize money has significantly increased. A total of £4.5m is available and the longevity of the deal, ten years, looks set to increase the profile of the meet in the racing diary. No-runner-bet is almost assumed these days, however for this festival it has become critical. The ground has been soft leading to a number of horses pulling out. The below are the betting offers that you must know about if you’re going to be betting on the horses:

Bet 365
Bet 365: Channel 4/1 offer

Glorious Goodwood is being broadcasted on Channel 4 meaning the festival qualifies for Bet 365’s Channel 4/1 offer. If you back any winner with odds 4/1 or greater, Bet 365 will give you a free bet up to the value of £50 for the next race. Should that free bet happen to win, then Bet 365 will give you yet another free bet for the next race.

Paddy Power
Paddy Power: Money back special & extra places

Paddy Power have been been promoting this offer heavily on TV. It applies for the first race (14:00) of each day. If your horse finishes either second or third, Paddy Power will refund your losing stake as a free bet up to a maximum of £50. On top of that, they are paying out an extra place on two races daily, one of which is the 15:45 Goodwood.

Ladbrokes
Ladbrokes: Free £25 bet per race

Ladbrokes are matching the Bet 365 offer for new and existing customers. If with Ladbrokes you bet on any horse that has odds 4/1 or greater, then you will receive a free bet. Only difference is that from our understanding, you don’t have to use the free bet specifically for the next race. One other thing to note is that to qualify for this offer you need to place your bet on the day, from 9:30am.

VC Bet
Bet Victor: Free £25 bet daily

Both new and existing customers are eligible for Bet Victor’s Goodwood offer. It’s quite similar to Bet 365’s offer. If you back a horse that has odds 4/1 or greater, Bet Victor will give you a free bet up to £25. The only difference to the Bet 365 offer is that customers can only qualify for this offer once a day.

Betway
Betway: Second place special

Betway have an on-going offer which applies to the races at Goodwood. Back a winner and if your horse is beaten by less than a length, then you stake will be refunded as a free bet up to the value of £25 for you to use within the next seven days.

10 Bet
10Bet: Free £10 bet

Really straight forward one from 10Bet. If you make five 10 bets on Goodwood races, then you will be rewarded with a free £10 bet. Once you have done so, to be awarded the bonus you must email customer services with the subject line of ‘GLORIOUS 10’.

Betway
Totesport: Richard Hughes refund

Not such a competitive offer from Totesport but one that may interesting existing customers. If the horse that you back finishes second to a horse being ridden by Richard Hughes, you will receive your stake back as a free bet up to the value of £25.

Unibet
Unibet: Mile Heritage Handicap Refund

Most similar to the Betway offer, Unibet are offering refunds on losing stakes if your horse comes second. It does however apply to just one race on day four/five, which is the 15:10 Mile Heritage Handicap.
