Both teams have an abundance of attacking talent, with the Eagles managing to keep hold of Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta so far this summer and Liverpool adding firepower to their attack with the signing of Hugo Ekitike. With two sets of top attacking players, alongside two managers who get goals out of their teams, we are backing both teams to score.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool – Most goals in 2nd half
Our next selection sees us back the most goals to be scored in the second half of the Crystal Palace vs Liverpool match. With this being the first match before the Premier League season, we see both starting somewhat slowly as they try to suss each other out. The two teams will get more into the game as it goes on and we think this will see there be more goals scored in the second half than the first.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool – Over 2 goals
Our final selection sees us back over two goals to be scored in the match. We have already mentioned the great firepower both possess in attack and with this in mind, we believe that the game could be an exciting one with plenty of goals. Palace scored three goals in their first team’s last proper pre-season match against Augsburg, whilst Liverpool first team scored four in their last proper pre-season game, so we are backing a fun Community Shield final on Sunday.
