Bet of the Day Predictions & Tips

Updated

We’re here to preview the Bet of the Day for today’s sporting action, where we’re hedging our bets on a treble from Challenger Tour tennis matches taking place on Wednesday afternoon.

Bet of the Day (20th November):

Bet of the Day – Carreno-Busta to win 2-0, Basavareddy to win 2-0 & Landaluce to win @ 2.91/1

Selection 1 – Carreno-Busta vs Budkov Kjaer – Carreno-Busta to win 2-0

First up, we’re backing Carreno-Busta to win in straight sets against Budkov Kjaer. Carreno-Busta won comfortably in straight sets in his home tournament in Round One, and will fancy his chances of picking up another victory against a young player that doesn’t have anywhere near as much experience as him. Carreno-Busta’s best surface to play on is clay, and he should outclass the young Norwegian in this one. Carreno-Busta was previously a top-ten player on the ATP Tour, but injury problems disrupted his momentum, which means that he’s now trying to build up a run of wins at the end of the year on the Challenger Tour, which is more than capable of achieving if anywhere near his recent level.

Selection 2 – Basavareddy vs Hussey – Basavareddy to win 2-0

Basavareddy has been in great form lately, and has 30 wins and 11 losses on hardcourts so far this season, and if he’s anywhere near his best, then he should be challenging for the title in this tournament. Basavareddy should be too strong for Giles Hussey, who despite having a solid record on hardcourts this season, isn’t near the level that Basavareddy is currently at. Hussey plays the majority of his tennis on the ITF Tour, which is a drop down from Challenger level. Basavareddy should be winning this one in straight sets, and it makes for the ideal inclusion in today’s Bet of the Day treble.

Selection 3 – Landaluce vs Jacquet – Landaluce to win

We are concluding our Bet of the Day tennis treble by backing Martin Landaluce to win his match against Kyrian Jacquet on Wednesday afternoon. Landaluce has been in excellent form lately, and if he can build on some strong showings, then he shouldn’t encounter too many problems in seeing off the challenge of his French opponent. Jacquet has been inconsistent in the last few months, and only reached this stage of the tournament after Brunold completely threw away his advantage against Jacquet, as opposed to the Frenchman doing anything of real quality.

What is a Bet of the Day?

The Bet of the Day is our recommended selection and is often a single, double, treble or accumulator. We research a wide selection of leagues and statistics to create our choice and weigh this up with the best odds to bring you our top picks. These may not always come through so be sure to gamble responsibly and only bet with what you can afford to lose.

How do we go about selecting our Bet of the Day tips?

We consider several things when selecting our bet of the day tips.

Statistics, current form, head-to-head record, league position are just a few of the points we look at before making our selection.

What do we look for in our bet of the day tips?

The main thing we’re looking for when making our bet of the day tips is the value for money.

Any customer can make random selections based on relatively short odds, but we try and find odds that should be shorter odds than what’s being offered by a bookmaker when we take into consideration various statistics and form.

What price do we try to make our bet of the day tips?

We tend to look for odds in and around evens as a minimum for our bet of the day, as that means that punters will be at least able to there or thereabouts be able to double their money. However, we’re also keen to find trebles and accumulators with minimum odds of 3/1.

However, it’s important to remember that you should only bet what you can afford to lose, as no selections are ever certain to win.
