Senegal vs Egypt – Senegal to win
We are expecting a very tough, but exciting match when Senegal take on Egypt at AFCON. The pair met in the 2022 AFCON final, with Senegal winning on penalties, and this time, we are backing them to win in 90 minutes. It would be back-to-back finals for Senegal if they were to beat Egypt and we think past wins over the likes of England in 2025 emphasise that they have the skill and the experience to beat Mohamed Salah’s Egypt. Senegal have beaten Egypt the last four times they have played each other and we expect the same to happen again this week.
Nigeria vs Morocco – Morocco to win
Nigeria take on Morocco, and this should be a really entertaining match, both are undefeated in this tournament so far, but we are backing Morocco to come away with the victory as they have looked like the strongest team in this tournament. Morocco have scored nine goals at AFCON so far and they have only conceded one goal so they are strong in both defence and attack. Nigeria have conceded four goals so far and this has let them down slightly, despite picking up wins in every match. More so, Morocco are undefeated in their last 10 matches in all competitions, whilst Morocco are only undefeated in their last five.
Chelsea vs Arsenal – Arsenal to win
New Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior will be hoping to continue the good start to his managerial reign after the Blues beat Charlton 5-1 in the FA Cup. It’s going to be a tough challenge for them in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup as they face Arsenal. Chelsea have only won three of their last 10 matches in all competitions, whilst Arsenal have managed to win eight of their last 10 matches. They look like the stronger side and are undefeated in their last eight matches against Chelsea, winning five of these games, so we are backing them to beat the Blues.
