Bet of the Day Predictions & Tips

Updated

We’re here to preview the Bet of the Day for Wednesday’s sporting action, where we’re backing a treble from tonight’s matches in the Champions League and the Premier League.

Bet of the Day – Wednesday 16th April

Bet of the Day – Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to win, and both teams to score in Newcastle vs Crystal Palace @ 6/1

Selection One: Inter Milan vs Bayern Munich – Bayern Munich to win (in 90 minutes)

Our first selection sees us back Bayern Munich to beat Inter Milan in the second leg of their quarter-final match this evening. Bayern are 2-1 down currently so will not make it to the semi-final if the scoreline stays the same. Inter Milan are known for their good defence and will be hard to break down, but we see Bayern attacking from the start and with players like Harry Kane and Michael Olise, we see them winning the match this evening in 90 minutes. Bayern had some big chances against Inter in the first leg and easily could have won if they had scored them, and we see them taking their chances this evening to advance to the next round.

Selection Two: Real Madrid vs Arsenal – Real Madrid to win (in 90 minutes)

Up next, we’re backing Real Madrid to beat Arsenal in 90 minutes in their second leg match this evening. Arsenal have a very surprising but deserved 3-0 lead after their top performance at the Emirates last week. This means Real Madrid have to score four goals this evening without conceding to have a chance of getting through to the next round. With this in mind, and with the quality Real Madrid possesses, we expect Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side to take a very defensive approach tonight, as they just need to hold onto their lead. This should see Real Madrid attack from the start, and even though they might not get through to the next round, we see them winning the game tonight after 90 minutes.

Selection Three: Newcastle vs Crystal Palace – Both teams to score

Our final Bet of the Day selection sees us back both teams to score in the Premier League match between Newcastle and Crystal Palace. Newcastle have scored in eight of their last 10 matches, whilst Crystal Palace have scored in each of their last 10 matches, so both teams are massively in form when it comes to their attacking play. Both teams have also won seven of their last 10 games, emphasising how good they both are at this current time. With Newcastle battling for Champions League qualification and Crystal Palace wanting to hold on to the small chance of European qualification, we believe tonight will be a very entertaining match, with both teams scoring.

What is a Bet of the Day?

The Bet of the Day is our recommended selection and is often a single, double, treble or accumulator. We research a wide selection of leagues and statistics to create our choice and weigh this up with the best odds to bring you our top picks. These may not always come through so be sure to gamble responsibly and only bet with what you can afford to lose.

How do we go about selecting our Bet of the Day tips?

We consider several things when selecting our bet of the day tips.

Statistics, current form, head-to-head record, league position are just a few of the points we look at before making our selection.

What do we look for in our bet of the day tips?

The main thing we’re looking for when making our bet of the day tips is the value for money.

Any customer can make random selections based on relatively short odds, but we try and find odds that should be shorter odds than what’s being offered by a bookmaker when we take into consideration various statistics and form.

What price do we try to make our bet of the day tips?

We tend to look for odds in and around evens as a minimum for our bet of the day, as that means that punters will be at least able to there or thereabouts be able to double their money. However, we’re also keen to find trebles and accumulators with minimum odds of 3/1.

However, it’s important to remember that you should only bet what you can afford to lose, as no selections are ever certain to win.
