Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Betting Tips

Bayern can take advantage with Arsenal eyes elsewhere
Arsenal have won all of their opening four Champions League matches with the Gunners taking three points against Athletic Club, Atletico Madrid, Olympiacos and Slavia Prague.
The Gunners are fresh from an excellent 4-1 victory over Tottenham in the north London derby and Mikel Arteta’s men have won 11 of their last 12 matches.
That doesn’t look like the form of a team ripe for opposition, but there are a few reasons to think Arsenal may be vulnerable when Bayern Munich come to the Emirates.
Firstly, the Bavarians are one of the top teams in Europe and Vincent Kompany’s side have won 17 of their 18 all-competition games this term.
There is no doubt that Bayern have the quality and experience to take three points in north London and the Germans may not be up against an Arsenal side at their best on Wednesday night.
The Gunners have a key Premier League game against Chelsea, who have developed into their closest Premier League title rivals and Sunday’s Stamford Bridge contest may be the key consideration for Arteta.
Arsenal still have a home Champions League contest against Kairat Almaty, which pretty much assures qualification to the knockout rounds and a defeat to Chelsea could be more damaging than a loss to Bayern.
Arteta is also managing a squad depleted by injuries and it would be no surprise if the Spanish gaffer rotated his side in order to ease the demands on his key performers.
Arsenal may well still have enough to keep Bayern at bay, but Kompany’s side look far too big a price in north London.

Goals could flow in north London
Bayern Munich’s 19 matches this season have averaged 4.39 goals per game and Kompany’s men will no doubt be on the front foot in north London.
The Bavarians hammered Freiburg 6-2 at the weekend and, while Arsenal will pose a stiffer challenge on Wednesday night, it may not be the rock-solid defence we have seen from the Gunners this term.
Key centre-back Gabriel is sidelined for the Londoners, while top-level full backs Riccardo Calafiori
and Jurrien Timber could also miss out.
However, Arsenal remain one of Europe’s strongest teams and the Champions League outright favourites’ attack may be difficult to stop on their own patch.
The Gunners hit four goals against Spurs on Sunday and all of Arsenal’s last three games have gone over 2.5 goals.
Backing a high-scoring contest could pay dividends when two top-level sides meet at the Emirates.

Kane set to continue scoring run
Harry Kane has scored an incredible 26 goals in 19 matches for club and country this season and the former Spurs striker was once again on target in Bayern’s 6-2 victory over Freiburg on Saturday.
It’s clear that the England man would like nothing more than to find the net at the Emirates and backing Kane to score can form the first leg of a Wednesday night bet builder.
With continuing injury doubts over forwards Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz, Mikel Merino may get the nod to start up front for the Gunners.
However, there is also a chance that the 29-year-old could be redeployed in a midfield position and the Spaniard could be handed a booking on Wednesday night.
Merino was shown a yellow card in Arsenal most recent Champions League tie at Slavia Prague and the former Real Sociedad was also in trouble on international duty for Spain earlier this month.
