We’re here to preview the Bet of the Day, where we’re placing our hopes on a fourfold from the Champions League matches taking place this week.
Bet of the Day – 28th January
Bet of the Day: Liverpool, PSG, Chelsea & Bayern Munich to win @ 6/1
PSG vs Newcastle – PSG to win
PSG are favourites to win the match and this should be no shock. They have won eight of their last 10 matches in all competitions and also sit sixth in the league phase. Newcastle are level on points with the French club, but are poor away from home in all competitions this season. They have only won one Champions League match away from home and two Premier League matches on the road. PSG, with their quality and squad depth, should have enough to beat their opponents this week.
Napoli vs Chelsea – Chelsea to win
There’s a lot to play for in Napoli vs Chelsea as Napoli need to win to remain in the competition, whilst a win can see Chelsea finish in the top eight. Chelsea only have two losses in the competition so far and have beaten Barcelona along the way. Napoli are ravaged with injuries and failed to beat 10-man Copenhagen in their last Champions League match. Despite being away from home, Chelsea should be able to seal off a strong league phase campaign.
PSV vs Bayern Munich – PSV to win
Bayern Munich are comfortable in the top eight, but they will want to continue their good momentum in Europe and finish the League phase with a win. They should be able to do so against a PSV side who have only managed two wins in their seven matches. Bayern have scored 20 goals and only conceded seven, whilst PSV have conceded 14 goals, so expect Bayern to end the League phase with a strong win.
Man City vs Galatasaray – Man City to win
Man City have a big game against Galatasaray as they could go into the top eight with a win. They have a great opportunity to do so as well as Galatasaray have lost two and drawn one in their last three European matches. City are at home for this fixture and they have claimed six points out of a possible nine at the Etihad, whilst Galatasaray have only managed three points out of nine whilst on the road. Expect a comfortable win for Pep Guardiola’s side.

What is a Bet of the Day?
The Bet of the Day is our recommended selection and is often a single, double, treble or accumulator. We research a wide selection of leagues and statistics to create our choice and weigh this up with the best odds to bring you our top picks. These may not always come through so be sure to gamble responsibly and only bet with what you can afford to lose.
How do we go about selecting our Bet of the Day tips?
We consider several things when selecting our bet of the day tips.
Statistics, current form, head-to-head record, league position are just a few of the points we look at before making our selection.
What do we look for in our bet of the day tips?
The main thing we’re looking for when making our bet of the day tips is the value for money.
Any customer can make random selections based on relatively short odds, but we try and find odds that should be shorter odds than what’s being offered by a bookmaker when we take into consideration various statistics and form.
What price do we try to make our bet of the day tips?
We tend to look for odds in and around evens as a minimum for our bet of the day, as that means that punters will be at least able to there or thereabouts be able to double their money. However, we’re also keen to find trebles and accumulators with minimum odds of 3/1.
However, it’s important to remember that you should only bet what you can afford to lose, as no selections are ever certain to win.
