We’re here to preview the Bet of the Day, where we’re placing our hopes on a football fourfold from some of the matches taking place in the Premier League and Championship on Saturday.
Bet of the Day – Saturday 6th December
Bet of the Day – Man City, Newcastle, Blackburn & Tottenham all to win @ 5/1
Man City vs Sunderland – Man City to win
Sunderland still continue to look like a very strong side and this was proven by their draw against Liverpool at Anfield during the week, but we think Manchester City will be far too difficult for them. Pep Guardiola’s side have won their last five Premier League matches at home and although they made their 5-4 victory over Fulham more difficult than it needed to be, the match proved they have the firepower in the squad to be battling for the title again. Erling Haaland got back to goalscoring ways, whilst Phil Foden now has four goals in his last two games. Sunderland have lost two and drawn one of their last four away matches, and we expect the poor away form to continue.
Tottenham vs Brentford – Tottenham to win
It’s the first time Thomas Frank takes on his old side as Spurs take on Brentford this weekend. The Bees will be well up for this match and will have a point to prove to their old manager. This match is tough to call, with Spurs only managing one home win in the Premier League this campaign, whilst Brentford have lost six of their seven away matches. Something has to give as the pair face each other and with Tottenham desperate for points after a poor run, we see them getting back to winning ways against Brentford.
Newcastle vs Burnley – Newcastle to win
Newcastle are now three games undefeated in the Premier League after a crucial victory against Everton, which was followed by a 2-2 draw with Spurs midweek. Eddie Howe’s side have also won four and drawn one of their seven home league games this season. They are undefeated in their last four games at St.James’ Park, whilst their opponents are very poor away from home. Burnley have lost six of their seven away games, including four of their last five away games. This should be a comfortable victory for Newcastle.
Blackburn vs Sheffield Wednesday – Blackburn to win
We head to the Championship for our final Bet of the Day selection and are fancying Blackburn to beat Sheffield Wednesday. It’s a must-win for Blackburn as they look to push away from the relegation zone. They are currently four points from danger, but this match against Sheffield Wednesday feels like the perfect opportunity to give them some legroom. The Owls have issues on and off the pitch as they have -10 points, whilst they have lost four of their last five games and only won one match in the division this season. Blackburn are struggling at home, but we back them to get back to winning ways at Ewood Park this weekend.

What is a Bet of the Day?
The Bet of the Day is our recommended selection and is often a single, double, treble or accumulator. We research a wide selection of leagues and statistics to create our choice and weigh this up with the best odds to bring you our top picks. These may not always come through so be sure to gamble responsibly and only bet with what you can afford to lose.
How do we go about selecting our Bet of the Day tips?
We consider several things when selecting our bet of the day tips.
Statistics, current form, head-to-head record, league position are just a few of the points we look at before making our selection.
What do we look for in our bet of the day tips?
The main thing we’re looking for when making our bet of the day tips is the value for money.
Any customer can make random selections based on relatively short odds, but we try and find odds that should be shorter odds than what’s being offered by a bookmaker when we take into consideration various statistics and form.
What price do we try to make our bet of the day tips?
We tend to look for odds in and around evens as a minimum for our bet of the day, as that means that punters will be at least able to there or thereabouts be able to double their money. However, we’re also keen to find trebles and accumulators with minimum odds of 3/1.
However, it’s important to remember that you should only bet what you can afford to lose, as no selections are ever certain to win.
