Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Betting Tips
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place on Sunday (start time 13:00). and our betting expert has provided three tips for final race, which will decide the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship title. Scroll down for the analysis behind his selections.
Norris to wrap up maiden title in style
Having endured a tough weekend in Qatar to allow his arrivals a glimmer of hope in the race for the Drivers’ Championship title, McLaren ace Lando Norris can get back to winning ways to claim his maiden world crown in style on Sunday.
While title rival Max Verstappen has an impressive record at the Yas Marina Circuit, winning the race four consecutive years between 2020 and 2023, it was Norris who ended the Dutchman’s domination on this track last season.
Knowing he has what it takes to win at the Yas Marina Circuit should give Norris the confidence he needs to take the chequered flag on Sunday.
While the Bristolian does not necessarily need to win this weekend to secure the Drivers’ Championship, he won’t want to take any chances.
Given he won this race last season and has come on leaps and bounds with McLaren since to win seven other races this term, Norris looks to be great value for the victory here.

Russell can end on a high note
George Russell has been a pretty consistent performer when it comes to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in recent years and it would be little surprise to see the Mercedes star finish on the podium this weekend.
Looking back at the last four races at the Yas Marina Circuit, Russell has finished fifth, third, fifth and sixth in Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, Russell also has recent memories of a top-three finish, having stood on the podium after the Las Vegas Grand Prix last month.
Russell has managed nine podium finishes in this 2025 Formula 1 campaign and the Silver Arrows driver is backed to land another top-three finish on Sunday.

Sainz may maintain positive form
Stringing results together that can be a solid foundation for the 2026 season, Williams driver Carlos Sainz Jr seems to be finishing the campaign strongly.
Having had a tough run in the USA, Mexico and Singapore, Sainz Jr turned a corner to earn a fifth-place finish at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Showing that was not just a flash in the pan, the Spaniard followed up that performance in Nevada with a third-place finish at the Qatar Grand Prix last weekend.
While there is expected to be plenty of drama at the front end of the grid between the title hopefuls, Sainz Jr will go about his business and is great value to make it three top-six finishes on the bounce to end the 2025 F1 season.
