Dortmund can seal the deal
Borussia Dortmund were excellent when beating Atalanta 2-0 at Signal Iduna Park and the Germans can repeat the trick in Bergamo.
Dortmund were clearly the better side last week, putting up expected goals numbers of 2.10 to Atalanta’s 0.47 and not allowing the Goddess a serious goalscoring opportunity.
The set up of the tie will mean that Atalanta will be forced to chase the New Balance Arena contest and that’s a dangerous game against Dortmund.
Niko Kovac’s men have won four of their last five games, they have hit 13 goals on that impressive run and Die Borussen are not a side to open up against.
Dortmund have hit the net 13 times in their last seven away games and the only time Kovac’s side have drawn a blank is when Daniel Svensson was shown an early red card in the league phase of Champions League against Tottenham.
A goal for Dortmund will most likely put the tie beyond Atalanta and it’s not difficult to see the Goddess being picked off by the Germans in Bergamo.

Classy Guirassy can open the scoring
Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy has hit a rich goalscoring run and the 29-year-old can open the scoring in Bergamo.
The Guinea striker has notched six times in his last five appearances for the German side and that includes when heading home to give Dortmund the lead after only three minutes against Atalanta last week.
Guirassy is a dangerous aerial threat, while also able to get behind defence, and the 29-year-old could get plenty of space as Atalanta push to get back into the tie.
The Guinea attacker has hit 16 goals for Dortmund this season and this month has seen Guirassy return to the peak of his powers.
Punting the former Stuttgart man to find the first goal of the game and over three strikes in the matches looks a tasty 12/1 bet builder.

Defences could be run ragged at New Balance Arena
Atalanta failed to score in German last week, but it has generally been a different story for the Goddess at the New Balance Stadium, and with the Bergamo boys trailing 2-0, goals are expected in Italy.
Raffaele Palladino’s men have scored 15 goals in their last six home matches and that includes two strikes against both Atletico Madrid and Napoli and three against Juventus.
Clearly, trailing 2-0 Atalanta will need to push to get back into the tie on Wednesday night and that is the issue of the Italians.
It’s difficult to see the Goddess keeping Dortmund at bay, with Die Borussen in full knowledge of counter-attacking opportunities.
That factor aside, Kovac’s men have seen 47 goals struck in their previous 14 games and another high-scoring contest is anticipated at the New Balance Arena.
