Aston Villa need a victory to get themselves back in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League and they look to have a strong chance of picking up three points at home to Chelsea.
While the Villans have drawn their last two matches, both at Villa Park, the latest of those was against table-toppers Liverpool and they gave a good account of themselves in that contest.
Unai Emery’s men are unbeaten in their last 13 home matches in all competitions, winning seven and drawing six, while they have tasted defeat just once at Villa Park in the league this season.
That strong home record can help them overcome a Chelsea side who have lost their last two assignments, both against Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
The Blues are without a win in their last six away games, losing four of those, and their troubles on the road may continue when they head to the West Midlands.
