Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest

Our prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Both of these teams have been in excellent form, and they’ll fancy their chances of picking up another important three points. Bournemouth head into this one off the back of a 4-1 win over Newcastle United at St James’ Park, where Justin Kluivert proved to be the star of the show, as he netted a hat-trick to stun the Magpies crowd. That win meant that Andoni Iraola’s men are now unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions, and even with injuries to some key players, they’re more than capable of causing Nottingham Forest problems at the Vitality Stadium.

Nottingham Forest have been the surprise package in this year’s Premier League campaign, and the Reds are third in the Premier League table heading into this one. They’re unbeaten in their last nine matches, and have the second-best away record in the top-flight, which catches the eye for all the right reasons. Chris Wood has bene in sparkling form so far this term, and will be confident of adding to his goal tally this weekend. We can’t separate these two teams though, and we’re predicting a 1-1 draw to be played out.

Wolves v Arsenal

Our prediction: Wolves 1-3 Arsenal

These teams desperately need to secure three points for very different reasons this season. Arsenal will still be quietly confident of catching Liverpool in the race for the title, but the club’s supporters will know that they can’t afford many slip-ups in the second-half of the 2024/25 campaign. They head into this one with confidence, after beating Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday, which now means they’re unbeaten in their last three matches.

They should have more than enough quality to beat a Wolves team that are 17th in the table, and only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. They’ve lost their last two matches, and it remains to be seen as to whether Matheus Cunha will be involved for the home side, as he’s been linked with a move away from the club, which includes Arsenal being one of the teams previously interested in landing his signature. Arsenal should cruise to three points in this one if they’re anywhere near their best, and so we’re going for a 3-1 win in the Gunners’ favour.

Man City v Chelsea

Our prediction: Man City 2-1 Chelsea

The game of the weekend takes place between Manchester City and Chelsea on Saturday evening. Manchester City will be eager to get back to winning ways here, having thrown away a two-goal lead against PSG in midweek, which means their qualification hopes in the Champions League hang by a thread. Pep Guardiola’s side beat Ipswich Town 6-0 in their most recent Premier League match, and with home advantage, they should sneak three points against Chelsea.

The Blues haven’t been all that convincing in recent months, and they could struggle to deal with an attack-minded Manchester City team. Robert Sanchez has made some notable errors between the posts for Chelsea this season, and City have the quality to exploit Chelsea’s weaknesses in this one.

Crystal Palace v Brentford

Our prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Brentford

This is arguably the toughest match to predict out of the six fixtures available on this promotion with bet365. Palace have shown some great improvement lately, and Jean-Philippe Mateta seems to finding his feet in front of goal again, which will be pleasing to see for Oliver Glasner and the Selhurst Park faithful. Glasner’s side are unbeaten in their last six matches, which includes wins over Leicester City and West Ham recently, so they’ll be confident of building on these impressive performances.

Brentford have the attacking quality to cause Palace some problems if they’re at their best, but it’s worth remembering that despite their brilliant showings on home soil, Brentford often find it tough on their travels. Thomas Frank’s side have the third-worst away record in the Premier League this season, with the Bees accumulating just five points from their first ten away matches this term, which makes for dismal viewing. We’re going for a 1-1 draw as our prediction in this one, as Brentford’s away showings have been poor, but Palace aren’t quite at their best level yet either.

Aston Villa v West Ham

Our prediction: Aston Villa 2-0 West Ham

Unai Emery’s Aston Villa should outclass West Ham this weekend, especially considering the Hammers have lacked attacking threat recently. Villa have only lost once at Villa Park in this year’s Premier League campaign, which is the fourth-best home record in the division. With Ollie Watkins starting to find his good form in front of goal again, Villa will always provide opposition defenders with plenty of problems.

West Ham are 14th in the top-flight standings, and have lost four of their last five matches, which includes a disappointing 2-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace in their most recent league match. It doesn’t get any easier for Graham Potter’s men either, and we’re expecting them to be on the back foot for the majority of the match with Villa, who will simply prove too strong for them.

Fulham v Man United

Our prediction: Fulham 1-0 Man United

Fulham have only lost twice at Craven Cottage so far this season, and they should get the better of Manchester United this weekend, especially considering the Red Devils’ recent struggles. Fulham have only lost once from their last 11 matches, and beat relegation-threatened Leicester City last time out, which adds further confidence to a team that are performing extremely well this season.

They’re set to come up against a Manchester United side that have won just twice from their last nine matches, and considering those wins came against Rangers and Southampton, it seems a tough ask for them to get any points against an improving Fulham side. The Red Devils are a shadow of their former selves, and are struggling for any sort of momentum, and so we’re backing Fulham to win 1-0.
