The fourth day of the 2026 Qatar Goodwood Festival is upon us, and Friday’s card promises more highly competitive handicap action on the Sussex Downs. The marquee event is undoubtedly the Group 2 King George Qatar Stakes, a 5-furlong sprint that traditionally attracts the fastest horses in training.

The supporting card is anchored by the hugely popular Coral Golden Mile, one of the most prestigious Heritage Handicaps of the season.
