Glorious Goodwood Day 2 preview (Today)
It’s day 2 of Glorious Goodwood today, and fans are very excited for one of the biggest flat racing events of the summer to continue.
Goodwood hosts some fantastic races, with eight taking place across the day. The feature race is the Sussex Stakes, where 12 runners are taking part, including last year’s 150/1 winner Qirat. The horse is 66/1 to win the race back-to-back if you fancied backing another him to produce another big upset.
The favourite to win the Sussex Stakes is Bow Echo. The 3-year-old comes into the race in great form, having won his last five races. Another great race on Day 2 is the Molecomb Stakes. Pershaada is the favourite at 5/2, and the filly looks to improve on her strong showing in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. Meanwhile, the field also includes Crownbreaker and the unbeaten Adonius, as well as El Floridita, who managed a 150/1 second-place finish at Ascot.
