True Love – 21:45 Juvenile Turf Sprint
Aidan O’Brien sends a strong team across the Atlantic for this year’s Breeders’ Cup at Del Mar, and he could get off to the perfect start with True Love in the Juvenile Turf Sprint.
The No Nay Never filly shaped with real promise when runner-up on her first two starts behind Gstaad and Lady Iman, before justifying strong market support with a decisive victory in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
She followed up impressively when stepped up to 6f in the Group 2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh, travelling strongly before quickening clear. That form has been well advertised since, with runner-up Puerto Rico winning the Group 2 Champagne Stakes and two French Group 1s.
True Love’s sole defeat came in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes, where she was found to be lame, but she bounced back stylishly in the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket, showing her trademark early pace. The return to 5f should play to her strengths.
The home team looks solid, headed by Wesley Ward’s Schwarzenegger, while Donnacha O’Brien’s Havanna Anna could again chase her home. Unbeaten on good to firm ground, True Love looks a class act and can give O’Brien his first win in this race since 2017.

Bottle Of Rouge – 22:25 Juvenile Fillies Dirt
This race has been won by a horse priced 7/1 or shorter in each of the last seven renewals, and Bob Baffert looks to have a firm grip on proceedings with Bottle Of Rouge.
Baffert also saddles Explora, the current market favourite, but she finished a length behind the selection in the Grade 1 Debutante Stakes at Del Mar in September, despite enjoying the run of the race. She bounced back to win at Santa Anita next time, yet she will need to find more to reverse that result.
Bottle Of Rouge shaped like the better filly that day, forced five wide around the bend but still strong enough to run down her stablemate late. The Vin Rosso filly boasts a perfect two-from-two record at Del Mar, and this step up in trip looks certain to bring further improvement.
With proven form and room to progress, she looks the filly to beat and can give Baffert his first win in the race since 2007.

Precise – 23:05 Juvenile Fillies Turf
Lake Victoria duly obliged at odds-on in this race last year, and Aidan O’Brien has a fine chance to follow up with the equally talented Precise.
The Starspangledbanner filly made a big impression on debut, unlucky not to finish closer after meeting trouble in running, and she looked sure to improve for a step up in trip. She confirmed that promise next time with a comfortable success over 7f at Cork before taking the rise to Group 3 level at Goodwood in her stride. Still showing signs of inexperience in the Prestige Stakes, she looked around once hitting the front but stayed on strongly to beat Moon Target and Aylin — the latter boosting the form by winning the Group 2 May Hill Stakes at Doncaster.
Precise improved again when returning to Ireland for the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes, overcoming a wide trip to power home under Ronan Whelan and defeat the previously unbeaten Venetian Sun. She followed up with authority in the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket, travelling powerfully and putting the race to bed in style.
Drawn widest in stall 13, she faces a tougher challenge, but her class should tell as O’Brien bids for back-to-back wins and a third success in four years.
