Catalans Dragons will look to win their fourth game in a row in all competitions when they host St Helens in the Super League.
Paul Wellens’ team will make the trip to Perpignan on the back of a 14-12 defeat to the Warrington Wolves, and the Saints have now lost their last two Super League games.
Despite the contrasting form it is St Helens that sit fourth in the table thanks to their strong start, while Catalans are down in ninth, but such is the competitiveness of the division, only two points separate the teams ahead of kick-off.

Saints to prosper in Perpignan
Super League teams often fall short on their trips to Perpignan to take on Catalans at Stade Gilbert Brutus.
The warmer weather often plays into Catalans’ hands but there should be no issues for Saints this weekend, with forecasters predicting highs of 13 in the region.
After a slow start, it is the Catalans that are now in red-hot form in all competitions under Steve McNamara. The French outfit managed to beat Leeds 11-0 in the Super League, and they have since secured comfortable wins over Featherstone Rovers in the Challenge Cup and Castleford in the Super League.
While things are looking up for Catalans, none of those wins came against formidable opposition. St Helens have lost two in a row in the league, but they came at the hands of Hull KR and Warrington Wolves – two of the best teams in the competition.
Saints lost by no more than 10 points in both of those games which suggests they are not far away from finding their groove again and they look good value to win this weekend.

History to repeat itself
Games between these two teams are often passionate and close affairs and this game should be no different. The last six meetings have been decided by 12 points or fewer and neither team have hit their best form just yet.
McNamara’s team have slowly improved across the board, but they have still only scored 59 points in five league games, a record even Huddersfield Giants have beaten, who are winless.
St Helens have the advantage in the forward pack and if they spread the ball wide, they should get some joy when the game breaks up. However, not many teams head to France and win comfortably, so there’s some good value in backing a narrow win.

Youngster Harry Robertson to thrive on the road
St Helens academy product Harry Robertson looks to have the world at his feet at 19. He signed a new contract earlier this season until 2028 and the utility back has rewarded the club’s faith in his services by scoring six tries in seven appearances.
St Helens’ success will come out wide and by stretching Catalans’ defence, and that should allow Robertson to find the space he needs to punish them.
