Where and when can I watch Chelsea vs LAFC?
The Club World Cup began in the early hours of Sunday 15th June, but Chelsea’s campaign doesn’t get going until 8pm UK time on Monday 16th June. The Italian will hope that his players have been able to recharge their batteries in the little downtime afforded ahead of a potentially gruelling month in the United States.
A trio of new signings could add another dimension to a Blues side that relied heavily on Cole Palmer and struggled when the England star lost form earlier this year.

Blues to bag an opening win
Chelsea’s deep squad and star quality means they are clear favourites to open their Club World Cup campaign with a win, but recent defensive frailties suggest LAFC can get on the scoresheet.
The Blues won eight of their last nine matches in all competitions, but they kept only one clean sheet in their last five away from home.
LAFC, meanwhile, are unbeaten in 10 matches overall, with four wins and six draws across those contests (in 90 minutes).
The MLS side boast the second-most potent attack in the Western Conference and have scored at least two goals in their last 10 games.
Led by Denis Bouanga and with Giroud often making an impact off the bench, LAFC will fancy their chances of scoring in this clash.
With Maresca still integrating new arrivals such as centre-back Mamadou Sarr and defensive midfielder Dario Essugo, there may be openings for LAFC to get on the board in Atlanta.
Chelsea’s quality should ultimately prevail, but don’t be surprised if the American side make them work for it.

Jackson can be a hit in the US
There is some uncertainty over whether new signing Liam Delap or Nicolas Jackson will lead the line for Chelsea.

It would be a shock if Chelsea did not begin with a win here because Maresca has multiple options on the bench who can come on and make an impact when LAFC’s starters begin to tire.
