PSG to cap outstanding campaign with world glory

Paris Saint-Germain look unstoppable in their current form and the Champions League winners are set to add another trophy to their list of impressive achievements this season.

Luis Enrique’s side tore Real Madrid apart in the semi-finals, winning 4-0, and while Chelsea will hope to put up more resistance at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday, the irresistible Parisiens are in such fine form that anything other than a win for the French giants would now be a surprise.

PSG appear to be peaking perfectly for the final after seeing off Inter Miami 4-0 and then Bayern Munich 2-0 in the knockout stages before the sensational rout of Real on Wednesday.

They have an awesome attacking line-up featuring Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while they are balanced brilliantly with the likes of Fabian Ruiz, Nuno Mendes and Marquinhos all playing vital roles in midfield and defence.

The Ligue 1 champions have only conceded one goal in the competition so far but Chelsea do have the firepower to at least test the favourites in the final.

The Blues have notched 14 goals in the USA en route to Sunday’s showdown and with Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and new signing Joao Pedro, who fired in a brace on his full debut in the semi-final win over Fluminense, among the Premier League side’s attacking options, Enzo Maresca’s men can at least score in defeat.

Kvaratskhelia can cause Chelsea problems

Kvaratskhelia was outstanding for PSG in the domestic and European season, helping them win the French title, French Cup and Champions League.

Following his move from Napoli in January, the Georgia international has scored eight goals from 31 appearances in a PSG shirt and he’s been influential in the final, scoring a goal and providing two assists for his side so far.

The skilful and pacy winger may be somewhat disappointed to only have found the back of the net once in the tournament but he can make up for that by registering in the final.

Pedro to maintain impressive Chelsea start

New signing Joao Pedro made an instant impact for Chelsea in the semi-finals, scoring two fine goals to secure the victory over Fluminense and he is likely to be lively once more up front on Sunday.

Backing the former Brighton man to have at least two shots on target again may be a good starting point for the Bet Builder, before adding in over 2.5 goals overall.
