It’s day two of the November meeting at Cheltenham on Saturday and the ITV cameras are in town for four live races at the home of British jumps racing. The racing is ultra-competitive and our betting expert has three tips, including one in the feature Paddy Power Gold Cup. We can also show you some top sign-up offers from betting sites, including Paddy Power’s special offer specifically for the racing at Cheltenham this weekend.

Cheltenham November Meeting Betting tips
Here are three betting tips for the Cheltenham November Meeting, which is also a part of Saturday’s ITV Racing.
- 14:20 Cheltenham – Bad @ 18/1
- 14:55 Cheltenham – Supremely West @ 13/8
- 15:30 Cheltenham – Jurancon @ 10/3
14:20 Cheltenham – Bad
Many of the market principals in the Paddy Power Gold Cup are returning from long breaks and, with conditions set to be testing at Cheltenham, the race-fit Bad can put them all to the sword.
I find it interesting that Ben Pauling has set out his stall to aim Bad at this race given all his chase form is on right-handed tracks.
There is insufficient evidence to suggest he is only capable of going that way around. That’s simply the way he’s been campaigned over fences and he was in the process of running well on his sole start at this track when meeting a well-backed 5/1 shot for the Boodles.
Bad is only six and smacks of a chaser on a sharp upward curve. He won his prep run for this in style at Kempton, managing to give Gabriel’s Getaway a stone and a good beating.
That horse went close to landing a £100,000 handicap at Ascot recently and Bad, who has a heavy-ground win on his CV from his days in France, has been underestimated.
- Cheltenham November Meeting Betting tip 1: 14:20 Cheltenham – Bad @ 18/1
- Excellent racing product including BOG available from 8am
- Play Spin ‘n’ Win daily to win free spins and cash prizes
14:55 Cheltenham – Supremely West
Dan Skelton seems certain to land a decent prize or two with Supremely West before the season is out and that can happen in the 3m handicap hurdle later at Cheltenham.
Skelton would have been delighted with the deluge of rain which hit Cheltenham for Supremely West, who relishes the mud.
The consistent seven-year-old has six wins, five seconds and three thirds from 15 starts on his CV and five of his victories came on ground described as soft or heavy.
Supremely West’s debut third for Skelton in a stronger race at the Showcase meeting last month goes down as a rock-solid effort as conditions were much quicker than he appreciates.
It was also Supremely West’s first start following wind surgery and, if the reappearance has brought him forward, he will take the world of beating off 1lb higher.
- Cheltenham November Meeting Betting tip 2: 14:55 Cheltenham – Supremely West @ 13/8
- Stake as little as 5p to benefit from new customer offer
- Recent site refresh has made navigation far more friendly
15:30 Cheltenham – Jurancon
Recent rain is also a big plus for Jurancon, who holds strong claims in the following 2m5f handicap hurdle.
Jurancon is another with a good strike-rate as he has five wins and three seconds in eight starts under rules.
He was well placed by David Pipe last campaign and his novice formlines are working out well, particularly his defeat of subsequent Grade 2 winner Tripoli Flyer at Chepstow a year ago.
This 3m point-to-point winner promises to be suited by this longer trip and the pedigree backs that up as his half-brother, Git Maker, was third in a Scottish Grand National.
Pipe often enjoys success at this meeting and Jurancon, who is one from one in handicaps, rates a six-year-old to keep onside off an enticing mark of 132.
- Cheltenham November Meeting Betting tip 3: 15:30 Cheltenham – Jurancon @ 10/3
- Welcome offer gives new customers more free bets than most
- Profit boosts and free football predictors are part of a host of attractive offers
