3.05 Goodwood – Time For Sandals
Time For Sandals has shown good progression as a sprinter this season.
Tried over seven furlongs on her reappearance, she ran well in the early stages but was out- stayed and ended up finishing a distant third.
She was dropped back in trip next time out and she looked much more at home when finishing a credible second in the Group 3 Prix Texanita at Chantilly on soft ground.
Time For Sandals then followed that up with a career-best when winning the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot. This time on Good to Firm, Harry Eustace’s charge showed a good attitude throughout and, despite being drawn left by some challengers on her near side in the closing stages, she stayed on well to hold off the threat.
She will have to contend with a penalty for her win in the Commonwealth Cup, but is versatile ground-wise and, most importantly, has a lot of pace.
The shorter trip should be able to negate the penalty and we may not have seen the best of her yet.

4.55 Goodwood – Sea Of Kings
It has been a somewhat agonising season for Sea Of Kings, going close on each of his three starts in Maiden and Novice company this year.
He made his debut at Nottingham in April and, while he looked a bit green at times, ran a good race, staying on well on what was a promising first run.
The three-year-old disappointed next time out at Chepstow when going well heading into the closing stages as he went for home a bit too early and got beaten with a furlong to go.
Sea Of Kings showed improvement last time out at Kempton, and while he had to settle for second place he ran well throughout.
Another under the watchful eye of Harry Eustace, the colt looks to still be a work in progress, but retains all his potential.
The addition of a tongue tie for the first time here enhances his appeal on his handicap debut.
