Ahead of the 2026 Grand National, MyBettingSites.co.uk has analysed over 1,000 accommodation listings in Aintree and its surrounding areas on Booking.com & Airbnb to determine how much higher accommodation prices are during the Festival compared to the week before and after.
According to the results of the analysis (when looking at accommodation for 2 adults during the Grand National between the 8th and 12th of April in Aintree & its surrounding areas):
- A 4-night stay on Booking.com during the Grand National costs (on average) £1,208, which is 150.6% more than the week before and 160.3% more than the week after.
- A 4-night stay on Airbnb during the Grand National costs (on average) £1,091, which is 139.8% more than the week before and 134.1% more than the week after.
- When Booking.com & Airbnb data is combined, a 4-night stay during the Grand National costs (on average) £1,149, which is 145.0% more than the week before and 147.1% more than the week after.

Methodology
- In total, 1,094 Airbnb & Booking.com accommodation listings near Aintree (and its surrounding areas within 20km, including Liverpool) were collected for the purpose of the 2026 analysis.
- The dates were pre-set from the 8th of April to 12th of April 2026, which was then compared to average prices of 4-night stays on the same days of the week in the weeks before and after the Grand National (1-5 April & 15-19 April).
- The accommodation search was pre-set for 2 adults.
