The 26th series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is almost here. The line-up is confirmed, and none other than Wayne Rooney is the early favourite to win.

Rumours had Rooney joined by other sporting names, including former England Test captain Ben Stokes and 1984 Winter Olympics gold medallist Christopher Dean. Neither made the final 12, but Paralympian Ade Adepitan did.
Half the fun of I’m A Celeb is guessing who’s going in, and William Hill, one of the UK’s best betting sites, put odds on a host of names before the announcement. The bookmaker correctly tipped Love Island’s Chloe Burrows and Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page to head Down Under to entertain us. Princess Andre and Jeff Stelling were also quoted, but the BBC got there first, and both are currently taking part in Race Across The World.

Wayne Rooney is undoubtedly the star name, and he’s favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle some time in December. He wouldn’t be the first in his family to appear on the show either, as his wife Coleen finished runner-up in 2024.
Next in the betting is YouTuber Sharky, who has more than 1.5 million subscribers, followed closely by comedian Leigh Francis. Burrows and Page are expected to do best of the women.
At the other end of the market, Leomie Anderson and Mariella Frostrup are deemed most likely to have their time in the jungle cut short.
