The 2024 series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here got underway over the weekend, and we certainly had plenty of entertainment from the first couple of episodes! We’ve had a fiercely-competitive race to camp, two Bushtucker trials, as well as the public votes for the next trial!
I’m A Celebrity Latest News
Tulisa and Alan Halsall won the race to be camp leaders, as they won the race across to camp, which involved jumping out of a helicopter, driving through the jungle, and rowing across a lake. They narrowly beat Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan, whilst the likes of Dean McCullough and Coleen Rooney, and GK Barry and Jane Moore were left a considerable distance behind.
Jones and McGuigan were nominated by camp leaders Tulisa and Alan Halsall to take on the first Bushtucker trial, and they picked up five stars for their efforts, in what was a commendable showing from the pair, who weren’t fazed by the 15 snakes around the pair of them. Jones was unfortunate enough to have some of the snakes travel up his shorts, which certainly provided entertainment for fans of the show.
GK Barry struggled throughout the first task in the race to camp, and that evidently didn’t go unnoticed, as she was nominated by the public to take on the second Bushtucker trial. She’s priced at 4/1 on Betfair to win this year’s I’m A Celeb, which could be a tempting price if she continues to be as entertaining as she has been so far.
- Great Odds & Cash Out feature
- High quality on live-streaming service
Dean McCullough is set to take on the third Bushtucker trial, which comes after GK Barry fought through well to win nine stars for camp, which could potentially see her face less trials moving forwards, as the public often like to see campmates suffer with less food on offer from someone that might struggle in the trial.

The team at MyBettingSites are keen viewers of I’m A Celebrity, and with our expert betting knowledge, we’ve provided you with some I’m A Celebrity betting tips, which can be found below for this year’s series.
Danny Jones, Maura Higgins or Alan Halsall to win @ 5/6
Danny Jones is the bookies’ favourite to win this year’s I’m A Celeb, and after an entertaining showing in the first episode, that’s not at all surprising. Maura Higgins is set to be a late entry into the camp, but she’s still well-fancied with the bookies to challenge for the crown. She was hugely entertaining on Love Island, and if she’s of similar attitude in the camp, she’ll be up there in the top-three for sure. Alan Halsall is a household name in Coronation Street, and given that soap stars tend to reach the later stages of this show, it makes for a nice price on any of the three to win on Sky Bet.

GK Barry – Queen of the Jungle (Top female) @ 2/1
GK Barry hosts a hugely popular podcast, and has a significant following across her social media, which means she could be challenging for the I’m A Celebrity title in this series. She’s also openly admitted that she’s scared of plenty of things, and she was certainly telling the truth, as we’ve already seen glimpses of her struggling in some of the activities. If she can overcome that moving forwards, then it really wouldn’t be at all surprising to see her being the top female in this year’s series.
