ISCO Championship golf betting tips
Players from both the PGA and DP World Tours will tee off at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville looking to gain valuable FedEx Cup points and exemptions, and it looks as if it is going to be a competitive heat.

Thorbjornsen should lead the charge
Michael Thorbjornsen has been chalked up as favourite for this week’s tournament and the confidence that he can claim his first PGA Tour title looks justified.
The 23-year-old posted the joint-best final round of 63 at last week’s John Deere Classic to finish 21st, so heads to Kentucky in fine fettle and this is just the sort of level at which he should be confident of success.
He has already finished second at the Corales Puntacana Championship, which could be considered a gathering of similar magnitude and he was fourth in a better field than this at the Rocket Classic a few weeks ago
Another strong showing was his fourth spot alongside Karl Vilips in the pairs event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, and he is just the sort of steady performer who could come out on top in this week’s examination.

- Extra Place races available
Koivun looks an exciting prospect
Golf fans are always eager to see who will be the next future star of the game and there is a lot of excitement about Auburn University freshman Jackson Koivun, who has risen up the ranks to be the world’s top amateur.
The 20-year-old demonstrated last week that he could be ready to step straight into this standard of competition after three excellent closing rounds helped him to 11th spot at the John Deere Classic, and it should help his cause this week that the tour is visiting a new course, so his rivals won’t benefit from any previous Hurstbourne experience.
Last month, he finished third in a US Open qualifier and then missed the cut at the devilishly difficult Oakmont by just a single shot, so we should not be surprised if again he became a significant threat in this sort of company.

Kim has boosted his confidence
Last year was one of frustration for SH Kim as a string of dismal results and a failed Q-School campaign saw him lose his PGA Tour card, but there have been strong signs from the man who was runner-up to Sahith Theegala at the 2023 Fortinet Championship.
The South Korean has had a string of confidence boosts on the Korn Ferry Tour this year, winning the AdventHealth Championship in Kansas City in May and also finishing runner-up at the Bahamas Classic and the Argentina Open.
Other top-ten finishes were banked in the Veritex Bank Championship and Knoxville Open and a 10th at home in his last event, the KPGA Championship, means he arrives in Kentucky in decent nick and he could prove to be a force in this sort of company.
