City to keep the pressure on Arsenal
Manchester City will be looking to cut the gap to Premier League leaders Arsenal to two points when they travel to West Yorkshire to face Leeds.
The Citizens, who have a game in hand on the Gunners, can put the pressure on Mikel Arteta’s side, who face a stern test of their title credentials at home to Chelsea on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s troops head to Elland Road on a five-game winning streak in all competitions and with seven victories from their last eight – a 2-2 draw against Tottenham the only dropped points during this purple patch.
The Citizens have scored at least two goals in those eight assignments, evidence of their attacking prowess, but they have looked a little shaky at the back and have conceded in three of their last five outings.
While Leeds, who are winless in three, are unlikely to get anything from this contest in terms of points, they should be able to at least get on the scoresheet.
The Whites did so twice in the 3-2 loss at the Etihad in November, while they have been blanked in just one of their last 10 home fixtures.

Guehi to test the goalkeeper
City signed defender Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace in January to help shore up their backline and, while he has helped keep three clean sheets from his six appearances, he has also proven to be an attacking threat.
The England international scored in the FA Cup win over Salford and he has managed a shot on target in three of his six outings. He looks capable of testing out the goalkeeper in West Yorkshire.

Leeds have received four yellows in each of their last two league matches and given they will be under pressure for large periods of this contest, they can pick up at least two more cautions.
City have also been regular offenders of late, collecting multiple cards in five of their last six matches, while they were cautioned four times in November’s reverse fixture.

The 28-year-old has made multiple fouls in four of his last six starts for the Whites and he can set the tone in front of a raucous Elland Road crowd.
