Manchester United vs West Ham Betting Tips
Our betting expert has three Manchester United vs West Ham tips for Thursday’s Premier League match at Old Trafford (kick-off, 8pm). Scroll down for the analysis behind his selections.
- Manchester United to win to nil @ 7/4
- Bryan Mbeumo to score @ 7/4
- Casemiro 1+ Shots on Target, Jarrod Bowen 2+ Shots and Jean-Clair Todibo to be booked @ 9/1
Real chance for a routine United win
Sunday’s 2-1 win at Crystal Palace means Manchester United have lost only one of their last seven Premier League games and a European finish is increasingly looking like a possibility this season.
They lost their last home game 1-0 to Everton but had won four in a row at Old Trafford before that and can grab another victory against West Ham.
The Hammers were unbeaten in three prior to losing 2-0 at home to Liverpool on Sunday and head north with a good recent record against Man Utd, winning four of the last five meetings, including both of last season’s clashes.
However, their victory last term ended a 16-game winless run in the league at Old Trafford and the Londoners come into this game with just one win in seven away games in all competitions.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were passive against Liverpool, recording 0.30 xG and failing to hit the target with any of their seven shots.
The Irons have improved under Nuno but may struggle to gain enough of a foothold to trouble Ruben Amorim’s hosts.

Mbeumo can continue to haunt Hammers
Bryan Mbeumo scored four times in seven games against West Ham for Brentford, the type of form that earned him his summer move to Manchester United.
The Cameroon international has been used both centrally and on the right of the Red Devils’ attack and has scored five times in his 13 Premier League appearances.
Mbeumo is averaging over two shots a game in the league and his willingness to take a chance makes him a candidate to score again on Thursday.

Expect efforts from Casemiro and Bowen
United’s records with and without Casemiro are worlds apart and, with his and the team’s confidence growing, he has played an increasing part in their attacking build-up.
The Brazilian has had 11 shots this season. He is also a threat from set-pieces and is worthy of support for a shot on target on Thursday.
West Ham may lack dynamism but captain Jarrod Bowen always tries to make up for any shortfall.
Bowen had his team’s best chance against Liverpool when striking wide from the edge of the area. He scored in both meetings against the Red Devils last season and could maintain his average of 2.3 shots a game.
Finally, Hammers defender Jean-Clair Todibo has been booked in the team’s last two away fixtures at Leeds and Bournemouth.
With the Red Devils’ attack looking increasingly fluent, take him to receive another caution.
