It looks like Marcus Rashford and Manchester United could be parting ways. The academy product, who has been part of the first team since 2015, has spoken out and shared that he is ready for a new challenge, whilst transfer rumours keep on suggesting that Man United are looking to offload him.
Rashford has managed 138 goals and 63 assists in 426 appearances for the club in all competitions, but his form has definitely dipped over the last year or so, with the Englishman only managing four Premier League goals this season so far. Some Premier League rivals of Man United are in the running to sign the 27 year-old according to the bookies.
Marcus Rashford Next Club Betting Odds
Rashford has created some wonderful memories over the years and scored some crucial goals which have helped Man United win trophies. Man United have struggled for consistency over the years, and it looks like this, combined with the managerial merry-go-rounds the club have had have not helped the attacker, who is now also not getting in the England squad. French giants PSG are currently the favourites to sign Rashford, with United’s Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea also in the running to sign the versatile forward.

Does Rashford want to leave United?
At the time of writing, it feels like Rashford does want to leave Man United, with the winger doing an interview with journalist Henry Winter and stating: “I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.” It shouldn’t be too much of a shock that he wants to leave as he has struggled to get back to his best over recent years. A move away could be exactly what both parties need.
Rashford was also left out of the squad for Man United’s Manchester derby victory over Manchester City, despite being fully fit, which also suggests that manager Ruben Amorim does not see the player as part of his future plans.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all in the running to sign Rashford
The latest rumours and odds around Rashford suggest that Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs are all in the running to sign Rashford. With the Englishman managing 87 goals and 40 assists in his 287 Premier League appearances, it is no shock to see English clubs rumoured to be interested in signing him.
Arsenal have not looked as good this season as they have looked over the last two campaigns prior, with the Gunners somewhat lacking quality in attack. Gabriel Martinelli, who plays in the same position as Rashford on the left-wing, has been inconsistent this season and has only managed three goals in 14 Premier League matches. Bringing in a natural finisher like Rashford, who can play across the front three, could be a very good option for Mikel Arteta.
Rashford could also be a great option for Spurs, especially with Son Heung-min now in his 30’s and not scoring as consistently as he did in the past. Meanwhile, Chelsea seems like the worst of the three options for Rashford. They already have an abundance of wingers and they are all performing to a high standard, so Rashford’s minutes may be lacking at the blues. The current Premier League betting odds see Arsenal and Chelsea being more likely to finish in the top four than Man United.
A move away from England entirely could be Rashford’s best option. There is no doubt that he could set the world alight at PSG, whilst Saudi Arabia would be where he could head if he wants the best possible salary. Hopefully Rashford can get back to his best as he has had some world class moments over the years.
