Reds to resume stalking Magpies

Ekitike looking the part
Summer signing Hugo Ekitike has made a pleasing start to life at Liverpool. He scored in the Community Shield at Wembley and repeated the feat in the Premier League curtain raiser against Bournemouth, breaking the deadlock in both instances.

It’s plain to see that Liverpool’s defence is going to require some time to adapt to the changes in personnel.
Jeremie Frimpong misses this game through injury, meaning Arne Slot will have to change tact. They have given up chances aplenty in two games, and Newcastle should be capable of scoring.
