Betting sites now have clear favourite for next Man United manager
Michael Carrick is now the leading favourite, with reports revealing that he has been interviewed by Man United. The club are interested in hiring him on an interim basis until the end of the season. Carrick was most recently in charge of Middlesbrough. He left the Championship side in the summer after 136 matches in charge and was battling for the playoffs during his tenure at the club. Carrick has been a caretaker manager at the Red Devils before and remained undefeated across the three matches he was in the dugout.
Oliver Glasner has worked wonders at Selhurst Park, winning Crystal Palace their first trophy since they finished top of the second tier in 1994. Glasner has been linked with a number of high-profile roles in recent months, and it appears increasingly likely that he’ll move on to a new challenge once his contract expires in the summer.
