PDC World Darts Championship Betting Tips
- Michael van Gerwen each-way @ 20/1
- Luke Littler to win, most 180s & 9-Dart Finish @ 17/2
- Dirk van Duijvenbode to win Second Quarter @ 10/1
Mighty Mike can show he’s far from finished
The greatest show in darts is about to light up the festive season and there is no doubt who most people think is going to top the bill – and it’s not Michael van Gerwen.
Luke Littler is the defending champion, the new world No.1 and heading to London at the back end of an astonishing 2025 when he has quite simply dominated the game.
The Nuke, still only 18, is very much the man to beat and goes to post the kind of price that Van Gerwen was himself back in his pomp around a decade ago.
And Van Gerwen is, therefore, the kind of price that is also unthinkable for a seven-time finalist, three-time winner and a man who this year won his 48th major title when he won the World Series – beating Littler in the final – in September.
Mighty Mike has had a tricky year on and off the oche and played less than usual.
He’s far from the consistent beast he once was but he can still deliver flamboyant performances and is still a cussed opponent who knows how to dig deep on the biggest stage in the game.
Van Gerwen is a big price for a player who reached the final less than 12 months ago and still has the talent to go far.
- Plenty of promotions for existing customers
- Extra Place races available
Littler the man to deliver ultimate win treble
Littler is odds-on across the board and while it’s boring, he really ought to win.
He is far more mature than he was a year ago and the longer the tournament goes, the harder he will be to rein in.
If he reaches the final then the chances are, like last year, he hits the most tournament 180s – he pinged 76 12 months ago.
And maybe this is the year he hits the nine-darter, a feat he has already achieved eight times, four times on TV.
In that case, if you want to side with Littler but up the odds then take him for the win tournament, most 180s, nine-darter treble.
- Welcome offer gives new customers more free bets than most
- Profit boosts and free football predictors are part of a host of attractive offers
Duijve into Dirk to be a quarter master
There are no end of betting opportunities at the Worlds with quarter betting especially popular.
With Littler taken to win the first quarter and Van Gerwen the fourth, that leaves quarters two and three, the first of which is an absolute free-for-all.
The top seeds in quarter two are Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton but both have gone cold towards the back end of 2025 which leaves the door wide open for anyone to make the semi-finals.
And two years after non-seed Scott Williams reached the last four, understand that this tournament does throw up unheralded semi-finalists so deep is the talent these days.
Dirk van Duijvenbode is the pick for quarter two. The Dutchman is frustratingly inconsistent but his averages when he is on are off the scale.
He reached the German Darts Championship final in October – averaging 117 in one of his wins – to give him real confidence and he can definitely make the last four if things go his way.
