Premier League 2024-25: Most followed players on social media

Updated on

football stadium 2

Ahead of the start of the Premier League 2024-2025, we have collected the Instagram accounts of the players set to play this season to find out who are the most followed players on social media and how much money they could potentially earn through sponsored posts. Some of the notable names that were part of the analysis are Liverpool FC’s Mohamed Salah, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne or Arsenal FC’s Gabriel Jesus.

Players and clubs and their follower numbers can be found below.

We will be updating the followers numbers throughout the season.

Methodology

  • The players' Instagram accounts were collected and analysed
  • If a player's social media account is private / not available / does not exist, they are marked as "0" and excluded from the analysis
  • The potential earnings per post were counted with an industry-accepted standard of 10 dollars per 1000 followers
