Premier League Darts 2025 Betting Tips

Updated on

Premier League Darts heads to Berlin for Night 9 and Luke Littler is looking for a hat-trick of nightly victories in Germany.

In fact, the Nuke has won three of the last four weeks of Premier League action, and the World Champion has looked like an almost unbeatable force in this year’s competition.

The defending Premier League king will take on Chris Dobey in the quarter-finals as he looks to extend his advantage at the top of the table.

Humphries value to challenge Littler’s dominance

Luke Humphries is the only arrowsmith to come close to challenging Luke Littler in this season’s Premier League and he looks a good bet to disarm the Nuke in Berlin.

Cool Hand Luke lost 6-1 to Littler in the final of last week’s event in Newcastle, but that scoreline was a harsh reflection of the contest.

Humphries has two nightly Premier League wins on his record this season and the 30-year-old should be fresh for the trip to Berlin after skipping this week’s Players Championship events.

The world number one takes on Rob Cross in the Berlin quarter-finals, before a potential semi-final against Nathan Aspinall or Stephen Bunting, and with Littler, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen all housed in the opposite half of the draw, Humphries looks a solid each-way bet for Berlin glory.

Bullet can bounce back

It’s eight weeks without a Premier League victory for Stephen Bunting, but the Bullet can break his duck in Berlin.

The Merseyside man has looked a little short of confidence in recent weeks, but he has been putting in performances that should really have yielded at least two or three wins.

Bunting has put up numbers of 102.15, 87.05, 102.11, 97.06, 104.89 and 100.49 in the last six weeks of Premier League action and the Bullet has to be considered at least a little unfortunate.

The former BDO world champion played extremely well in Tuesday’s Players Championship 10 event, averaging 102.48, 102.00, 103.09, 111.72 and 97.28, on his way to the quarter-finals, and that level of performance should be too good for Nathan Aspinall.

The Asp won only two matches in this week’s pair of Players Championship competitions and the efforts of the Stockport arrowsmith are becoming more and more inconsistent.

Of course, Aspinall is a top-level performer on his day, as he showed when winning the European Darts Trophy last month, but Bunting looks more likely to give his best in Berlin.

Price is right for Iceman bet

A heavyweight clash between Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price completes the Berlin quarter-finals and the Iceman looks the best bet on the Premier League card.

Price was in scintillating form when winning Players Championship 9 on Tuesday, averaging a whopping 114.36 in a 7-0 destruction of Brendan Dolan in the semi-final of that event.

That was a seriously impressive performance and it followed another excellent effort when reaching the quarter-finals of last month’s European Darts Trophy.

The last few months have signaled a return to peak form for Price, and while Van Gerwen is still capable of moments of brilliance, there isn’t the same feeling of progression from MVG.

Price can usurp Mighty Mike in the Premier League standings with a victory over the Dutchman in Berlin and the Iceman looks like a cracking bet to freeze out his rival.
