Stay cool with world No.1
Luke Humphries has been toppled at the top of the Premier League table and lost two in a row, but he can arrest that slide by going all the way to glory in Cardiff.
The world No.1 was top of the eight-man table after four weeks but has now been overtaken by Luke Littler.
Humphries isn’t playing badly and he can illustrate that fact by triumphing at the Utilita Arena.
The draw is in his favour. Quarter-final opponent Michael van Gerwen isn’t playing well and hasn’t been feeling well, and Cool Hand can take advantage of that.
And if Humphries sees off the Dutch titan then it’s either seventh-placed Chris Dobey or eighth-placed Stephen Bunting in the semi finals.
Humphries has had a week off, skipping two Players Championship heats in Germany, and is ready to reclaim top spot in the table in South Wales.

Hollywood to be inspired by Toon’s Wembley joy
It has been a good week away from the oche for Newcastle United fan Chris Dobey.
Now, having watched his beloved Magpies end their trophy drought at Wembley, Dobey needs to end his barren Premier League patch.
The man they call Hollywood looked box-office on Night 1 when he made the final but he hasn’t won a game since.
That means he has still won two more games than Stephen Bunting, his opponent in Cardiff, and the Geordie looks the bet to nullify The Bullet.
Bunting is obviously devastated to still be on no points after six rounds and it’s getting to him. If Dobey can apply much in the way of pressure expect Bunting to flounder.
And Dobey has beaten Bunting in 10 of their 14 previous meetings so should fancy his chances.

Voltage can spark into life in enemy territory
Rob Cross has got the dubious pleasure of having to shackle last Thursday’s winner Gerwyn Price in the Welshman’s back yard, but his form suggests he won’t be fazed by the occasion.
Cross is sixth in the table, yet only Luke Littler boasts a better tournament average.
Voltage has had a ton-plus average in each of his last four matches over the past two weeks and can sail beyond the 96.5 mark against his name.
Premier League Night 7 Tip 3: Rob Cross Over 96.5 Average v Gerwyn Price @ 5/6 with bet365
