Luke Littler and Luke Humphries have opened a gap on the field at the top of the Premier League standings, but with the two Lukes clashing in the Nottingham quarter-finals, the door could be open for Michael van Gerwen to close the gap.
MVG has been handed a bottom-half draw on night six of the Premier League so the Dutch ace has been housed away from Littler and Humphries.

Voltage can power past rival
Chris Dobey worked his way into the Premier League with some excellent Pro Tour performances last season, but it hasn’t been much of a success story so far for Hollywood.
The Bedlington arrowsmith hasn’t won a single match in the last four weeks of action and there hasn’t been much respite away from the league.
Dobey exited the Belgium Open with an average of only 89.95 in defeat to Dirk van Duijvenbode last week and that isn’t positive ahead of his clash with Rob Cross in Nottingham.
Voltage put up numbers of 111.19 and 106.91 in his two Premier League matches in Brighton last week and that leaves the impression that the Kent thrower is coming back to his peak.
Cross is the narrow favourite on Thursday night, but Voltage looks to hold more advantages than the prices suggest.

Iceman can dodge the Bullet
Stephen Bunting is still searching for his first Premier League success as we move to night six of the competition and the Bullet’s confidence looks to have been drained by those struggles.
