Rachael Blackmore won twice at day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival, with winners on Air Of Entitlement and Bob Olinger, with the latter being a hugely impressive run in particular.
We’ll take you through a summary of each race from Thursday’s horse racing action at Cheltenham.
1:20pm – Rachael Blackmore wins on board Air Of Entitlement
Air Of Entitlement picked up the first win of day 3 at the Cheltenham Festival, as Rachael Blackmore produced a sublime run in the home straight to beat Sixandahalf at the finish line.
Maughreen was dealt a tough blow to her chances at the start of the race, with the standing start getting underway whilst she was facing the wrong way. The win for Air Of Entitlement at a price of 16/1 with CopyBet was Rachael Blackmore’s first win of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, and she’ll be hoping that she can go from strength to strength heading into the final day at this year’s Cheltenham Festival.

3:20pm – Fact To File makes it back-to-back Cheltenham wins
Fact To File justified being the favourite in the Ryanair Chase on Thursday, beating Heart Wood and Il Est Francais to claim the win at a price of 6/4 with TangoBet.
Mark Walsh kept Fact To File on the shoulder of Il Est Francais, and cruised through in the home straight. Protektorat couldn’t get near the leaders in the race, and Dan Skelton will certainly feel as though that was a relatively disappointing showing from the former winner of this race last year.

4pm – Bob Olinger produces stunning win
Bob Olinger came from last to first at an SP of 9/1 with Midnite to win the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle. It was a stunning ride from Rachael Blackmore, who picked up her second win of the day, after winning with Air Of Entitlement in the first race of the day. Teahupoo looked as though they were set for the win with two hurdles to jump, but Bob Olinger had other ideas, as he swept past to win much to the delight of some punters who backed him from 20/1 into 9/1 overnight.
