Leeds vs Manchester United
It was being reported in early December that Leeds manager Daniel Farke could be sacked if results didn’t change, but since then, Leeds have been on a great run as they look to stay out of the relegation zone. They are undefeated in their last six matches, beating Chelsea and Crystal Palace and drawing twice to Liverpool. Manchester United only have one loss in their last five, but results like the draw against Wolves highlight that they still have big issues. With the match being played at Elland Road, we are backing the home side to get a draw against their rivals.
Our Prediction: Leeds 2-2 Manchester United
Fulham vs Liverpool
Liverpool have managed to remain undefeated in their last seven league matches, and they are slowly starting to look back to their best. They aren’t there yet, which was proven by their draw against Leeds, but they should be able to continue their good streak against Fulham. The home side have only managed one win against Liverpool in their last eight games, but they will have some confidence due to being undefeated in their last four games in the division. We expect a tight game, with Liverpool coming out on top.
Our Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Liverpool
Newcastle vs Crystal Palace
Both Newcastle and Crystal Palace are struggling for form at this current time, with Newcastle managing two wins in their last five league games, whilst Crystal Palace only have one win in five games. The fixture also suits both sides as Newcastle have been much better at home, whilst Palace are better on the road. Newcastle sit eighth in the home Premier League table, with no losses in their last five games at St.James’ Park, whilst Palace are fifth in the away table. We see this match ending in a draw on Sunday.
Our Prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Crystal Palace
Spurs vs Sunderland
Spurs may not be playing at their best but they have found a way to stop shipping goals and this was emphasised by their last two results, which included a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace and a 0-0 draw against Brentford. This defensive setup will be very important against a Sunderland side who are having a great season back in the Premier League. Their 0-0 draw against Man City showed that they can compete with anyone. With both favouring defence over attack, we are backing a low-scoring draw.
Our Prediction: Spurs 1-1 Sunderland
Everton vs Brentford
Both Everton and Brentford have performed well over the Christmas period, but we are backing the Toffees to pick up a comfortable victory this weekend. David Moyes’ side are eighth in the division and picked up a strong 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in their last match. They have two clean sheets in their last two matches and we are backing them to get a third in a row against a Brentford side who struggle on the road. The Bees have two wins in nine away matches and have only scored eight goals. Expect a comfortable victory for Everton this weekend.
Our Prediction: Everton 2-0 Brentford
Man City vs Chelsea
One of the best games of the week sees Man City face Chelsea. This is Chelsea’s first game without Enzo Maresca in the dugout after the manager fell out with the ownership and agreed to part ways. We believe this will affect the performance of the away side, who have just two wins in their last eight matches. Man City are undefeated in their last nine matches, with eight of these being wins and we are backing them to make it nine wins out of 10 this weekend.
Our Prediction: Man City 3-1 Chelsea

We definitely recommend the Sky Bet sign up offer and it’s currently one of our favourites across UK betting sites. The main reason we really like this offer is due to their minimum qualifying bet. Other offers available from new betting sites have a minimum wagering requirement of £5 or £10, but with Sky Bet, you only have to place a 5p bet, which then gives you £30 in free bets.
